Well, I sent everything on the 26th of november, and in the beginning of january they scheduled my interview for the 22nd of february. so basically, it was about 3 months between you sent the DS-230 and your interview day... but it also depends when your case is complete, cause they actually schedule your interview during the first 2 weeks of a month for the next month...

i send the ds-230 right after the IV bill was shown as paid. but it takes them a couple of weeks to enter your DS-230 in the system after they receive it...yeah, france is a really busy consulate (or lazy...it s still france lol)

no, i m the husband, and my interview went smooth, even though the wait in the embassy was long (stayed more than 3 hours in tere!)

you pick a "centre" depending on where you husband did the JAPD, and i send a letter. I guess he could just call. The only thing is that letter they send me doesn t really say that i did my JAPD, it only says that they can t provide me a certif...

and that i m considered freed from my military obligations...

Oh this one is tricky... how old is your husband? cause they don t do military service anymore, they do just a one day thing... of course, i didn t keep my certificate, of course, it was 10 years ago, so i tried to get a copy, but they don t even do that if you re older that 25... So i just have a letter explaining that they don t give it anymore, hope it works though....

oh yeah! i mean, when i was there, there were only 6 people for immigrants visa! but of course, there was only one window for us!
