Okay guys I got two great job offers and one of them wants me to start on July 12. I really want this job. I told them about my situation and it sounds like they'll work with me if the have to because they need me to start soon. Should I call USCIS again on Monday about the expedite. I already called twice. The first time they said I had to do my bio first and the second time an RFE was sent out 2days after. I have returned the RFE and my case has resumed. Should I initiate another expedite to get them to go look at my application again. Also I just got served to go to court in July and be sued for a charge off credit card, this is just one of the financial issue i'm faced with. I really need a license and a paycheck.

Just wanted to know what you'll think.

Okay my RFE was received and my case resumed on june 24th. But the AP and EAD hasn't been touched since the 18th. My petition hasn't been touched since they received it may 7th.

Make a copy and send the original with the evidence.

Well my RFE was return today. Lets hope my case resume tomorrow and move quickly......come on EAD and interview letter!!!!

Yea no interview letter yet, but congrats to everyone that's making progress and good luck to those still working on RFE. Sending back this RFE today. They should have it tomorrow. Hopeful they can wrap things up when my case resumes. I now have 2 jobs waiting on me and I'm broke.

Cool! I think the legal assistant is a little slow sometimes, so she might be wrong on this one. So you're sending the copy of the RFE letter then? I might do that as well. How did you explain the no tax return issue in your statement? Was it a long explanation or short? Sorry for all the Q's but I'm starting to get nervous and stressed again

Okay this is kinda stupid but I'm happy its simple. My RFE came today and its for my Wife's initials on the affidavit of support. I also had another job offer today.

Yea got a warning on that but got the ticket for my tint and speeding. Got to go to court 08/04/2010.

okay, my situation just got a little worst. I went to the store and got pulled over for going 37 in a 25 and my tint is too dark, I got two tickets. I got a chance on the driving on expired license..Thank God...this sucks another $250 in fines and possible problems with my filing and I'm already broke and stressed. Does anyone knows how bad this will affect me if any.

Really weird the e-mail i got it says:

"We received your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly."

It says: Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60days of this letter.

See updated timeline. The last time they sent me an RFE it specifically said that my EAD will be on hold. Thsi time it didn't, not sure what that means.

Went to dmv and they say the AOS, EAD or BIO receipts won't work they need something from ins stating I have a year extension.

Ok so just got and email for another RFE on my AOS, say application on hold. But didn't say anything about the EAD which I request an expedite on. Now I'm about to start stressing....

I had a missouri license that expire in 2008 when my student visa expired. I renewed it in nevada with my EAD for OPT but that also expired in 2009 when my OPT and EAD expired. I know living in missouri again with both expired license.

LOL....yea that would be assume!!!!. I need to renew my drivers license, is this possible with the EAD

You will have no problem doing the bio with your RFE. Also when I sent my RFE back it got updated the end of the day after the day they received it. Your husband can go but if they don't have enough sitting room he'll be ask to wait in the car. However, it only take 15mins-30mins.

I talked to a woman in my congressman's office, and she said that they had to have your biometrics, but seemed to think that anytime after that, they could ask. We sent in our stuff to her today so crossing my fingers that it will get approved!

Still no RFE....

Okay, I know this is a long shot but does anyone know how long it takes for them to get you biometrics results. Better yet whats the faster you've seen anything approve after bio. I called about an expedite the day before my bio, maybe I should have waited until after.

I think I have seen the same question answered at either the March or April filers forum, might help to look through them or do a search on the forum. My guess would be Toronto, but it is just that...a guess.

So what happen once you got to st. Louis....I agree I would put what the copies says and send those. You can also attach a letter explaining your case.

After looking at March and April trends I no longer excited about my two touches after the bio yesterday....

Mm, I mailed it to the Chicago Lockbox, and we're in Atlanta so that's the USCIS center that we're going through. Is that what you're asking?

Got back from walk in biometrics today - successful!! Yes!

Just trying to understand...So I guess every state has a service center that actually process the application. Because mines is currently at the National Benefit Center In Lee's Summit
