  1. Okay I'm here, sorry I've been out the loop just very bust with work. Yesterday I went for my interview and it was about 30mins and we were approved. Our interview was schedule for 8:30am we hit a little traffic and just running late so I was worried. I got to USCIS at 8:39 drop my interview letter in a box they instructed us to and sat. About 2mins later my name was called by a woman who at first seemed stern. As we entered her office she told us that was merely going to go through the information we submitted ensure everything was correct and accurate and she swore us in and told us to have a seat. She went over the Bio info with my wife and then the same with me. Then she ask a few question directly from the 485. Then then asked about our son we showed her pictures then she asked if we had a big wedding and we showed her pictures. She asked who were the people in the pics we showed(which she copied. All this happen within 30mins, then she said she see no reason not to approve my application. She took my EAD and I-94 and stamp my passport. told me to expect an update in a few days. About 2hrs after i left the office i got my first card production email.....

  2. Although...I'm not sure what to think about this database...its not very reliable. my I-130 is still at initial review and so is the travel document which i already have approved and in hand. AOS has been touch since June and it say request for evidence under review. Not sure where that tab came from, it wasn't like that before. So needless to say it says what it want to on any given day...

  3. More prayers coming your way that you will get the EAD before you start your job.

Good thing the driver license tests are not that difficult in this country ;)

I was the one asking about the joint sponsor and the original docs. I was hoping to hear from someone that had already had their interview, but not yet. Someone made me start to think about it bc they asked in the April filers thread. The response we got their was that it would be best to bring it, but I still want to hear from someone who knows for sure. I'll let you know if I do.

My friend did get approved without an interview, and he didn't come here on a K-visa, so it can happen. You never know... I think he said he thought he got approved right away bc of all the evidence they sent in with the application.

Thank you, I'll do the same if i find anything out.

  4. okay just received this a second ago....
