Got my 10year card yesterday

Just check my status and it says my card was ordered on April 4th. :dance: Good luck everyone it looks like they are rolling.

My Bio appointment is two weeks from tomorrow. I'm not sure if it worth trying to do a walk-in because Fort Smith, AR Field Office is and 1 1/2 hours away and I would hate to take off work to drive down and don't get in. Has anyone done a walk-in at this field office or knows anyone that has. Tried finding a phone number to call and verify if they take walk-in appointments but was unable to do so.

Will we have to go to another interview? What happens after your BIO appointment?

Got my Bio appointment today. My appointment is 10/11/2012 in Fort Smith, AR

That's correct, I called yesterday with the same issue and they told me that number is just for their reference and the number I need to track the status of the case will come on the Bio Appointment letter.

What this cover letter you all talking about was that required. I don't beleive I submitted that much evidence however I did submit more than I did when I originally applied 2yrs ago. Listed below is what I submitted, hopefully its enough:

All document has both names and our current address:

1. Copy of GC front and back

2. Copy of Lease

3. Copy of 2011 Tax return (1040 only)

4. Car insurance and titles

5. Medical insurance/Dental/Vision

6. 5 different utility bills

7. Marriage licence

8. Son's Birth Certificate

Can anyone please answer? I was about to submit everything today but saw some posts regarding w2s and I just learned that you can order transcripts online for free :-(

Got my NOA today dated 09-13-2012 at 5:52pm. Prefect timing a day before my GC expired.

Did they cash the check already?

Yep, they cashed it today i beleive. Its processing on my account and should clear tonight. I set an alert on the check number and got alerted this morning at 6am.

My understanding is that while photos are not the strongest of evidence, they're not harmful either. They want to see the intermingling of your financial lives more than anything else. My husband and I also do not have children or life insurance but I'm not worried with all the other evidence we have in regards to financials.

Nope. Your foreign spouse will have new photos taken at their biometrics appointment.

I believe they already have that from when you submitted it with previous paperwork. We didn't include it with ours. Didn't feel like it was proof anything beyond that we got married, which they know from our AOS.

Cool, Well now I wait for my NOA and BIO Appointment. Hoping that my GC expiring on 09/14/2012 doesn't pose a problem.

Good point. My case is a perfect example. I applied in July and my package sent back to me due to my fee waiver being denied. I couldn't afford to send it back until this week. My GC expires today. Got my finger crossed abd praying this won't be a problem.

Hello I filed my I-751 yesterday and figure I would start a new topic for myself and all the other September filers.

Got my back today with a letter denying the fee waiver. It also said I should refile with the fee. I guess I will have to join august forum when I file in two weeks.

but on another note... You said you choose mean tested benefit they say thats you approved if you provide the evidence. I choose hardship due to my many bills and my wife can't find a job and haven't worked in two years.

Sorry to hear that you still haven't received anything. When I saw that you posted I was hoping you got your NOA today. Did you file with VSC or CSC. Your profile say VSC but the list have you in CSC. Hopefully you get something soon because i'm 2weeks behind you.

Once you receive NOA1 it is a one year extension of your greencard.

Hello everyone, I mailed my Form I-751 package on July 26, 2012 and it was delivered on July 27, 2012. My Green card expires on 9/14/2012. I also filed form I-912 for the fees to be weaved due to hardship. Is anyone familiar with I-912. If it not approved do I have to re-apply completely? Also is it illegal for me to continue working once my card expires?

Got this last week about an hour after my interview:

On September 14, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Nope haven't got that yet:

I would check on it. I just got another card production email. Does that means they mailed my GC
