my card is being printed....I rang the wankers at immigration and gave them a piece of my mind...told them they need to expediate my case...so they have...but not the kids....reackon I should expect my card within 30 days...tossers...

just remember to write seperate checks....apparently the immigration guru's get all flustered if you put you and kids all on the one check....and they will send the entire pack of goodies back then you got another 20 bucks of postage to send it back to them....my k1 ran out in mid November and I didnt send in the AOS until last day of December....Have heard of longer timelines....so dont stress....hope all goes well...keep in touch lyndal....

Thanks Barbara...my sisters Barbara too....i feel sorry for her as her only sister me is living in the usa and her only son is as well...so I guess Im sort of near family....2 hour flight is better than a 24 hour flight...but soon my son will head back to australia and I know exactly how I will react...crying every night as I was when I first got over here without him....wish he was younger cos I would make him stay here with us....
