    24 days! Fiance sent I-134 on Thursday. Hoping it gets here quickly so I can relax.

      my fiance didn't check a box at the end, and just put N/A k1 fiance visa... and I got all freaked out and made him send me a new one with the box checked, hahaha.... they took the one without the box checked and didnt mind at all. everything is so much easier than I thought it would be :)

    So I have a cold, nothing TOO bad but definitely noticeable. They won't care at my medical, right??

      no! they won't care... it's just a cold :)

      If it's Seiden's in TO, the Dr was happy I had my flu shot bc I'm a "high risk" group (teacher), but they definitely understand people get colds. It's not like you'd be bringing something new to the US :)

    Dropped off package 3 to what seemed to be a very disgruntled DHL employee... but at least it's gone :D And they said it will go out tonight and will arrive tomorrow!!! eeee!!!!

      hahah fair enough!! I have one as well, but it's from August, when I needed one for something else, so I just got 2 copies (fyi, RCMP did it for FREE!!).... but I might get one closer to the interview, cause I've heard they can ask for a more recent one. so, I'll check off that I do have one (since I do), but then most likely get a more recent one, too.

      no you're right, the police check is on the checklist for p3, but its one of the things we bring to the interview, not actually send!! :)

      I tried a couple times, then gave up cause it was eating my day time minutes!! (I dont have a landline).... and then before I could think to call again, my fiance received a letter from NVC with our case number!

    Got through to NVC after 2 days of constant calling :P Got my case # and it left for Montreal on Tuesday :D

      what did you do, exactly? just call the number from the thread you posted.... and basically ask, "what's my case number and did it leave for Mtl yet??".... I know HOW to call, I just don't really know what to ask!!
