    Has anyone else received a USCIS case update text or email when you don't have an active case pending? I just received a case update text for a case that was approved in 12/2011. Strange....

      My husband recently received an email for a case that was completed three years ago. My guess is that was due to the change of address that we both filed. :) Don't mind that message too much.

    Llevamos el pasaporte de ella que contenía la I-94 original. El agente copió la página del pasaporte y sacó la I-94 original. Además, copió las licencias de cada uno. Copiamos la I-94 antes de la entrevista para nuestros archivos.

    Espero que esa era la pregunta...

      He asked about 5 or 6 of the 18 questions on the I-485, whether I had met her parents (I had), what are their names, asked about birthdates, wedding date, asked to see pictures, asked for a couple of financial statements to show joint ownership. The only problem we almost had was that my wife doesn't speak a lot of English and he said I couldn't be her translator..     Waiting on a GC decision from this morning. IO told us that if we didn't receive a phone call today, that everything is OK but I'll be happier when I see the "Green Card Production Ordered" text.

    AOS interview tomorrow morning at 7:30 - exactly one day shy of 8 months since NOA1. I hope they take that into consideration.

      Good luck with your interview tomorrow. In my interview the real questions were addressed to me. My wife only had to answer the questions that were on the AOS application.
