  1. On the CSC site does it show below your personal information the DHL location? Call DOS to see if it has been printed and if so if it was picked up. Also there is your reference number in the personal information section on CSC. You can put that number in the DHL site under reference #. First thing though. Check to see if your DHL location is on that page.....Then call DOS to see if it was printed. They do them in lots, and they say 3-5 business days. My interview was April 27th and Mine was printed May 2nd...Picked up by DHL on the 4th.

Do you know the # for DOS? or where I can find it please?

  2. Thankyou! I went to add the email address but its already there. My hubby interviewd the same day as Saylin and hers is updated already, and also the officer who conducted the interview emailed herself yesterday and said we printed out his visa and it's in the mail for tom......that was yesterday, I was getting all excited to check DHL for around 8pm. So there is no # to call DHL? I still feel like we registered wrong lol And you know how the website says someone from DHL will call it's been well over 5 days since we registered and no one has called my hubby.

  3. Ahhh just landed in SFO.........they moved the whole international arrivals in the international level now...it used to be in the domestic terminal. So I know my dad is like 25mins away from me somewhere in the airport!! I'm having them page his name over the speaker, but it's not catching his attention or something because I'm still stuck here lol

ANyways I was getting all excited to check the DHL but I got nothing...... I think my hubby and I registered for DHL wrong! Because Saylin got an update already and the lady from the consulate called this morning and said his visa is printed out and ready to go in tom's mail. I went to www.usavisa-info again and logged in all it says is my hubbys name, passport number, DOB, & a 7 digit reference # , I've been putting that in the DHL track thing but says nothing. Also there is a section titled Details it Trip Purpose: Permanently Immigrate to the US - Register for Courier Services Only

Consulate Address: U.S. Consulate General Montreal

Noow I loogged back in to the us visa website to try to read more instructions and I scrolled down and see this under the other info

    DHL Information

    DHL Branch: Brampton [Edit]

But nothing on DHL! I still think we did it wrong..isn't there a # where I can just call DHL to ask them if they got our info?

  10. Me too!

Congrats you guys! =) That's what we are waiting for! Also during the first window before we had the interview the officer checking oout our paperwork took my hubbys fingerprints and went over the DS-230 with us and then had my hubby sign it and handed it back to us to keep =/ Now we have it at home but we emailed Montreal to find out if it was mistakenly given to us!! ANyone else get back the DS-230?

  11. Hello all hope everyone is doing well, My hubby got his approval yesterday in Montreal *yay* =) But something does strike me as odd, and makes me nervous. The first person who asked us questions and took our forms had my hubby sign the DS-230 stamped it MONTREAL MAY 3RD and he gave it back to us even has a stamp on the front that has DATE REVIEVED: CMR #90 . Under the part consular officer.....it has been left blank. We did have a interview 10mins later with a very nice blonde lady though.

Anyone else ever get their DS-230 back? He did ask us questions and went through it with us. Just gave it back, I suppose they do have the electronice DS-260......but I dunno still bugs me.

  12. My wife didnt get the DS-230 back during her interview last week. My wife did tell me that they had the DS-260 printed out..So i guess they do have the DS230 information in the DS260 if they need it.

She didn't! makes me nervous..... But that is true they do have the electronic DS-260.

  13. Hey everyone! So my hubbys interview was yesterday and he got approved, But I won't feel good until we get the passport back and he crosses the border! And congrats to everyone who has gotten their visas! =)

I got some questions about DHL .....it confuses me alot lol........So we registered online at the embassy webstie choose Brampton as the pick up location and it said that someone will contact you in a couple of days, I registered with DHL on May 1st 2 days before the interview ....last minute bad. But I don't know if anyone called while we were away I don't think anyone did and I'm not sure if I signed for DHL correctly... whats a waybill # I never got that or a conformation # on the site either. IS there any way I can contact DHL and confirm that my hubbys name and info is with them and we registered, if so where can I find the #? there are lots of #'s on the back of the welcome to USA letter? THankyou ! :star:

  14. Thank you! :) It was definitely a nice experience for me knowing at least someone there!

Nope, I didn't get sworn in either. Didn't have to raise my hand or anything. Kinda realised it halfway through. But I didn't care as long as I got approved laughing.gif

So what questions did she ask you?

Okay I'm back! made it back to Toronto last night around midnight, we had to take the GO bus because the last Go train left at 6pm =0 ! Anyways So yeah our number came up on that board and we went to the window and there was a man, askedd how we were and asked for the interview letter, passport, medical, and any original documents that weren't sent to NVC and that was only my hubbys fingerprint style police check because of high volume. He asked when we were married, where, asked if i work, confirmed i live with my parents, asked if I had a recent tax return. Jokeed about two gifts for when we were married because I told him the offical city hall date and the church /family date. Then I saw the DS-230 that my hubby sent and he opened and said lets go through this together, confirmed my hubbys parents names, where we live, aksed if this was both our 1st marriage, any kids involved. Then asked my hubby " tell me about court" and he explained a little about what happened but he didn't get to get into full detail because the guy jumped to another question lol but he was nice. Then he handed back a few original documents like the marrriage certifcate/birth cert/ court records, and the DS-230 which has his pen marks on it where he went through it with us. And it has a blue stamp on it recieved : date by NVC ......Im a little nervous were we supposed to get the DS-230 back?? then he told us to sit down while they work on his paperwork.....then 5/10 mins later got called to window 7 and I WAS THINKING OHHH THIS IS THE INTERVIEW because I really thought the interview was just with that man in the beginning lol.

THere was a really really nice blonde lady there and asked how we were.....general questions again, where we met, married, when, where I live, then was looking thourgh his court records and said you have a couple of possession charges, tell me about those, and that was when my hubby could go into full detail about his stuff. He explained and she leaned forward and was really paying attention and was very nice and I could tell she understood his sympathy towards his error when he was young and that he's not that kind of person today. ohhh and before that wanted to know where the inccidents took place from my hubbys teenager days. Then she went to the computer asked when we were married and where filling it out on the computer then was going through paperwork and said "everything looks good' and slid over the welcome to america letter, held his passport in her hand smiled and said you'll get this back in a week with your visa stamped in it. And I was crying and just felt a big sigh of relieve.

But I'll feel totally good when he gets his passport, and gets to cross the border! I'm still a little confused as to why we got the DS-230 back from the 1st guy at the window.......did annyone else?

  15. THankyou Ravis! =)

Saylin!! I'll let ya know about the questions in a few hrs when I'm stuck on Via Rail lol....we got to check out of this hotel and I have a butt load of stuff to pack! I'll be back! :star:
