Hey RabRiz! I just edited some of the appointments according to the week. Hope its okay. Fill up anything you think is incorrect. I'm amazed that the Consulate in Egypt and London are open on Sundays. I just thought it was M-F. I wish the Consulate in Mumbai was open on Sunday.

7 weeks to go....entire month of June...hoping time will fly

Congratulations to RabRiz, TheMatrix, AUS2USA, danjoan and mrs.a, on getting your interview dates! July is filling up pretty quick.

Does anybody know if India is not in a pool of countries where interview dates are assigned only in the second week of the month? This will confirm the fact that July interviews are already being setup for applicants from India. Although I do see interviews being scheduled for UK and Nigeria as well for July already. It seems that some countries are in that pool and some not. Am I right in my observation?

I agree with that observation. Seems like appointments for India are scheduled perhaps the last week of the month, rather than the 2nd week.

Hello everyone! Glad to be on the July 2010 interview forum! By chance I called up NVC today and received my husband's appointment date for July 16, 2010 at 7:30 am in Mumbai. Just before, I received the official email from NVC regarding the appointment date. The AVR hasn't updated as of yet, still says that case was completed on May 18. Woohoo!!! NVC is kicking #### on all these appointment dates for India. Hope that everyone will receive good news this week as the month comes to an end.

This means, NVC is scheduling interviews for the month of July right now. Hooray!!!!

Congrats gujjugirl . You are probably the one of the first one's to get the interview date assigned for July. I have a post started on July 2010 interviews to keep track of all July interviews. May be if you like you can post your interview date there as well.

RabRiz: My case was completed on May 18. The message on the AVR still displays the message of "Case Complete." It hasn't changed to reflect that I was assigned a date. I called up NVC to inquire about whether they assigned an interview date and surprisingly I was told it was for July 16. I see from your timeline, that your CC was on May 19. Perhaps your interview date will be assigned soon, hopefully tomorrow or later on this week. I will definitely post something on the thread that you started. Good luck to you.

I just called to ask about the interview, and she said it was "very rare" anyone got a date this week of the month! Makes me feel much better... NOT!

So I asked if it would be the week of June 7 and she said she thought it was June 14 because of the way the dates fall!

Anyone else have any idea which week in June?

It's a good question. I was thinking that I would be informed of a interview date the 2nd week of June. To my surprise, the operator told me the appointment date today (although, I haven't received an email yet). It would be nice if they would let us know when they "actually" do schedule for interviews. From my experience at NVC, everytime that I call them about something relating to my case, they tell me to call back 2-3 weeks later. I would get so frustrated and would call back 2-3 days later and to my surprise, it was received, completed. etc. So moral of story, just call, call and call....

Hello! I just got off the phone with NVC to inquiry about a possible interview date and to my surprise:

Interview date scheduled for July 16, 2010 at Mumbai for 7:30 am

I'm so exicted!!! I just wish that it was early July......but still I'm so happy!!!

Case completed today, MAY 19,2010

Called NVC, the operator said Guangzhou makes his own schedules. Just let hubby call DOS tomorrow around 08:30-17:00 EST

OMG! OMG! OMG! At 4:20pm today I got a SIF! So, at 4:25pm the operator at NVC confirmed a CASE COMPLETE as of TODAY! She even congratulated me She did say Cairo was full for the month of June for interviews and for me to call the 2nd week of June to see if they can schedule us for a July interview. :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: I cant believe it!!! Good Luck to the rest of you waiting for a Case Complete! I pray for you all it will be very soon!!!

I would also add that Sachinky, the great Oracle of Delphi Kolkata Somewhere-in-USA had predicted that I would get a SIF on the 18th.

Congrats!! NVC finally got the ball moving on everyone's cases after the slowdown. I'm so relieved as I know that everyone else must be who got a SIF...thank god no RFE for anything!
