I don't think you have an option. If u read about what states Mumbai consulate does interviews for, Gujarat iS one of them. I didn't see any options on i130

No No. U dont pick buddy. If u r from certain states, u go to a particular consulate. For gujarat its mUmbai.

Just going to write it in the cover letter. That way if they hit with RFE or checklist or whatever it is called, I wont mind at all. I already have my wife fill out everything and she is just waiting to get a new passport (with my name as spouse) which she will get end of July time frame.

no no. if you get you interview date within the next 5 months, then you only need PCC from passport office.

Yes there are two types of PCc u have to get if your passport is more than 6 months old from your interview date. 1 from AMD passport office and 1 from local police. I mean might as well wait and not get any RFEs during the NVC stage.

not two weeks buddy more. It takes about a week or two to get your PCC from what i heard. And then 2 weeks to get it here. Stupid stuff

Were you able to get the police certificate for your wife? I wanted to know if she tried it from the AMD office? let me know if she was successful and what she did.

Haha i just read you comment. I give up on being positive. I have given up on this process as well. wish i would have listened to my friend and applied for fiance visa. She might have been here already.
