a big congrats from me to you....I understand it must be hard having such a wonderful addition to your family but only half your family gets to play with her...I wanted to have a baby but my husband wont let me....in the end I got a pit bull pup....I got pics of her on my fb....

Thanks Life is good, been boring not working but my EAD/AP was approved today so not too bad - just under 3 weeks from biometrics so gotta be happy with that!!

Did mine back in December, was in and out in about 15-20 minutes, now have to drive all the way down to Memphis [11-12 hour drive] for interview for my AOS, so we are going to make a road trip of it and go visit my gfriend in Arkansas for a few days at the same time, will be moving into our new house just beforehand so is going to be an exhausting time for both of us..

I know how you feel, this immigration process is so dam slow, we submitted AOS, EAD AND AP back last October,didnt get biometrics appt until December, AP came too late to go see my Dad, but oh well, im keeping busy going out to lunch once a week with my mother in law, Farmville on Facebook, general house work plus i go out and about in my new car learning the roads and just checking things out, hubby has been great and feels so badly that the immigration stuff is taking so long, after we got ...

PS. cant get a drivers licence either, the gal at the local DMV said i had to wait until i got my AOS, as of right now i have no status she said im in Limbo.. go figure!

Thanks Barbara...my sisters Barbara too....i feel sorry for her as her only sister me is living in the usa and her only son is as well...so I guess Im sort of near family....2 hour flight is better than a 24 hour flight...but soon my son will head back to australia and I know exactly how I will react...crying every night as I was when I first got over here without him....wish he was younger cos I would make him stay here with us....

perhaps we could all plan to meet somewhere one weekend for a BBQ .... not sure where but the planning might give us something fun to do....???

I'm with you both on this one. Its so lonely when hubby is at work, missing family and friends so much. Can't wait to get out there and work and make some new ones!

thanks barbara I think with all the stress and the hype and the worry its not surprising I went down ill - probably lucky it didnt happen any earlier lol

well darl I know how you feel do you know that I was so stressed before I came home here thinking I would not make my own wedding that my forehead went all dry and so itchy drove me crazy and a few of my eyebrows fell out go figure. I have to use a little pencil now on the edges lol it's not obvious to any one only me and I showed my daughters when I was in OZ and they said oh Mum you are so dry it is just stress. Man I shed a lot of tears getting here I have to admit but its all good now...

Hi Carey I know its the 28th back in Aussie, just wanted to wish you Bon Voyage! Hope your flight is smooth and with good tail winds to bring you Stateside, grab a couple of beverages with dinner then sit back and watch a movie and hopefully fall into a peacefull sleep until just before 'touch down' will be thinking of you and praying for a safe and fast flight.
