yes, you do....
once you become a citizen you don't have to inform them of an address change....
Thanks for your reply. So I assume you just use the same for when you do this then?
thanks

Probably a silly question, but once the 10 yr Greencard is received after removal of conditions, do you still need to inform USCIS if you move house?. I Know you have to in the 2 year conditional residency, but wasnt sure about whilst on 10yr one
thanks in advance for your help

i, too, had the same problem with our credit cards. we just submitted a copy of the credit cards, showing same account numbers.
looks like you have enough evidence,
but then again, i haven't been approved yet so i wouldn't say i "know it all".
whew...
My husband is an authorised user on my card, but his name does not appear on the statement. I just sent in a sample of statements covering the 2 year period and a copy of the actual cards in each of our names.
thanks

It does seem quick and unusual in comparison to a great deal of other people's experiences, and I am very grateful for the fact it has been so speedy. So I think I am right to be both pleased and suprised.
Thanks everyone for your congrats best wishes to all those who are waiting.

really? Oh wow!! Well that was quick then, took them less than 2 months, I am very impressed. In fact, the dealings I have had up to now with the CSC/USCIS have always been pretty good, I guess I am one of the lucky ones.

Hi
I just received an email from the CSC stating that my card has been ordered and should be with me in 30 days.
Does this mean i have been approved.? I know it sounds obvious but that has been so quick that I am, understandably I think, a little suspicious.
I mailed my package in to CSC on about 6th Jan, went for Biometrics last week and today Ireceived this email
pplication Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On February 23, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283.
Anyone know if this is really good news or am I jumping the gun?
thanks

Hi all
Just finally filling in I-751 form and got to the question of country of birth and country of citizenship. I was born in England but I neve know whether to put England or United Kingdom or great Britain.?
I know I am probably having a brain burp
and panicing but I was wondering what other people from Blighty use
thanks in advance

Essentially there are two facets to the proofs required to remove conditions from an alien's PR at the I-751 stage. Proof of co-mingled finances (including assets/liabilities and equities) and proof of cohabitation. Joint obligation on a lease can help to show that the parties are sharing the financial burden of marriage and that they indeed reside in the same place, but in the event that a joint lease is not available, then other evidence can do the same. I wouldn't draw attention to what you 'don't have", but would focus on what you do.
Thanks for the reply.. that is what I was wondering.
Kind Regards

I wouldn't bother. If you have other avenues covered there shouldn't be a problem. And those pieces of evidence have the joint address on them anyway, right?
Another thing you could do is include the lease with your documents and write on it why you're not on it. Or ask the landlord if he could verify that you live there? A lot of people don't have joint leases or mortgages because of the USC being established in their home before the spouse turns up.
Good luck!
THanks for your advice.
Yes the other documentation has the joint address on it.
That was actually the question i was asking, would it be sensible to include the lease with a reason I am not on it, or just ignore it and hope that the rest of the evidence is enough.
thanks

Hi All
I am getting ready to file i-751 and collecting all our joint information.
I was wondering when writing out the cover letter with what is included, is it wise or unwise to include reasons why something is not in there.
My specific example is that my husband and I live together but I am not on the lease as the Landlord would raise the rent a phenomenal amount. He lives out of state so isnt around very often to know.
Would it be silly of us to write a reason as to why there isnt a joint lease included with the evidence that we submit or should we just not mention it.
We have other evidence, joint bank accounts, credit cards, health insurance, car insurance tax returns etc.
thanks in advance for your help

Thanks for your replies
I guess I didnt explain myself properly, so apologies.
My husband and I are both now working as from start of 2005 and therefore 2005 tax returns will be filed married and jointly.. not a problem.
But 2004, neither of us ( myself because I didnt have work auth) earned enough to file taxes. ( lived off savings and parental help blah blah blah.) So, because we originally had a sponsor, would this mean that we would have to send in his tax returns for 2004 with out I-751, or should we just ignore it and send in what we will have , ie just our own for 2005.
thanks

Oh.. i was told that I didnt have to file as i had not been working?
Is there anything i can do about this now?

Hi all
I am due to send in 751 in December 2006 and I was just reading some info about the evidence we need to supply.
I have read in a few places that we need to supply at least 2 years tax returns.
We married in June 2004 but didnt get work authorisation until end of December so I coudnt start work until beginning of 2005...ie no tax return for 2004 for me.
This means that this year will be the first tax return that we have filed together, and the paperwork for lifting conditions would be sent in before next years returns are filed. My question is, will this be a problem as far as evidence is concerned. ( we would only have one years worth of jointly filed tax returns)? Should I mention this on the cover letter or just send in what i have?
Also. when our original AOS paperwork was sent in, we had a co sponsor ( financial). Now i am working obviosuly we no longer need this, , but do i still have to include his tax forms in our application to lift conditions , or was that just for the initial application.?
Thanks in advance for your help

Premiership football on US TV
in United Kingdom
Posted
Hi all
I know is probably been aked before but I am trying to find the cheapest and easiest way of being able to watch ALL of the premiership matches on US TV, and I am stuck. I live in california, and the cable company I am with has a soccer package and that has Fox soccer channel but it doesnt look as though they transmit all of the games. So if anyone knows or can correct me about this then I will be eternally grateful.
This year I dont want to have to go to the local pub at 6.00 in the morning to see them, although maybe for the Euro 2008 I might venture out.
Thanks in advance
