I filed my N400 and and still waiting for interview schedule. My green card is about to expire in 2 years. I don’t know how long gonna take for my citizenship application. What form to apply? Ist possible to apply that also while waiting for my N400 application?

I filed my n400 application on July and checking the process timeline every month and it’s going smoothly until I checked yesterday went back to 9 months process time.. what the heck… 

any application process time happened like this?

Hello.. so I applied for citizenship, now I’m studying the civic version 2008 for the interview. Do I need to study anything else like do I need to memorize the us national anthem and the oath of allegiance?  Are they gonna ask you to sing it during interview? Or make u recite it? 

Hello.. I just applied for citizenship and hopefully when I become a citizen I’m thinking to apply for my sister to bring her in the US who has hepatitis b. Ist gonna be a problem ?

Hello guys… so I’m a permanent resident for 8 years and married to my us born citizen husband. Which one should I check? Coz it said u can only chose one..

Do they look for your current passport during biometrics? Because I’m about to renew my passport. I’m not sure if I’m gonna get my new one in time, since it’s gonna take 2 months.

Helllo everybody I just wanna make sure that I answer the question correctly, so my husband has never been married before only to me. Should I put 0 or 1 because he’s married to me.?

@jolyn69 they gave u booklet? it means they give you the 2008 version of civics to study when u had your biometrics?

After filing do they send you a book to review for civic test? And usually how long it takes to get your interview appointment after biometrics...

I’m planning to file my citizenship. Since I’m not going outside United States anytime soon I’m not renewing my passport. My Philippine passport will be expired on September 2021...

Anybody had their interviews, do they require your valid passport ? 

I’m planning to file for my citizenship, but. since I’m not planning to go anywhere outside United States I’m not renewing my Philippine passport which is going to expired this coming July 2021. My question is, a valid passport required for filing for citizenship? 

Cyberfx1024 I'm going to use updated Philippine passport which I'm using my husband lastname my middle name which is my last name when I'm not married, but my green card, my middle name is still the same which is my middle name when I was still not married,because I thought in US you retain your middle name whatever it is so I didn't do the way the Philippine how you acquire your middle name.

Thanks arken for advice, but my worry is going back to custom going back to us they gonna see that my green card is different from my passport and boarding pass..

Hello everyone. My husband and I are planning to go back to Philippines, my middle name in my green card is my middle name when I was not married which is my moms last name when she's not married, because that's what it's written in our marriage certificate. So I just retained it. Then my middle name in my Philippine passport is my last name when I was not married yet.. My question is, it's ok to go in and out of US ? And what middle name should I use for my boarding pass?

USCIS received my file on Nov 25, 2013 and had my biometrics on dec 23, 2013 waiting for update until now.....why taking so long??

hello everybody I filed my removal of condition on November 25, 2013 and had my biometrics appointment on December 13, 2013..

Now its already 6 months since I filed my file. Is anyone here have same filing date or same day biometric?

anyone who what contact number to follow up the case?

Hopefully going to get my green card soon, because the extension of my green card after they received my file is only one year..
