  1. I do have the hardcopy of my approved petition NOA2 and MNL# case no, verbally got from NVC today. My question is - can my fiancee go to St. Lukes for medical with only the following:

Email copy of NOA2 approval petition which I wrote through the email her MNL#

Is this acceptable and can she proceed her medical?

Thanks... and sorry for again asking this question since my fiancee is ready to go this week... thanks again. :help:

  2. I couldnt believe it. I called NVC @ 8PM West Coast Time, and waited to have a live person to talk to, for thrity minutes. I was amazed that the woman (nice person) gave my MNL#case no. I couldnt believe it. She as my benificiary's and petitioner's bday, name, phone# and email address. I even asked her on when NVC will send to the Philippines. She told me that she just received today. But I called this morning (almost everyday since it got approved alst Apr 5 and got the hard copy via mail last Apr 8) that they hadnt received it. But I just read a posting thread that keep on calling NVC about your case and dont get with them saying called a week or two weeks (which I always been receiving anwser from them.

NVC told me to call back again to know on when NVC is going to send to Manila Embassy. Fo your information, this is how to track your packet sending to your own embassy: (saw this to previous posting thread, I tried with other petitions and it seems, it works!):

For everyone waiting to know if your case has shipped from NVC to Consulate these instructions work:

    1. Go to: http://track.dhl-usa...?nav=TrackByRef

    2. In Reference, enter the info as follows:

    EXP DD MMM YYYYA

    EXP is constant

DD is the date before the day the NVC said they shipped the case.

MMM is the three letters representing the month the NVC shipped the case

YYYY is the year the NVC shipped the case

    A is constant

For example, if the NVC says they shipped the case on February 12 2009, this would be entered as "EXP 11 FEB 2009A"

    3. Date range for shipment - From: Enter the date of the day NVC said they sent the case

    4. Date range for shipment - To: Enter todays date

    5. Keep the rest of the fields blank

    7. Once you enter the info, press "Track"

    8. After a while you will see a list of all of the packages that left the NVC today. You need to search for the specific consulate.

    9. When you find the shipment the corresponds to your consulate, you will see the tracking number that you can record.

    10. You can then track the shipment from the NVC to your specific Consulate

Remember the spaces in the reference because I tried without and it doesn't work. You might have to trawl through the pages to find your shipment but it's worth it for the peace of mind

My questions is ( I dont know if this is pertain to your own individual embassy), can you do your medical by showing your NOA2 approved petition letter and NVC case no. ?

Good luck to everyone... to Emi and Shawn, call NVC again and again or call your congressman or rep to follow up this case. Call NVC or USCIS that, NVC hasnt received your case yet. I hope, but dont worry, that your petition will be resolved anytime soon!!!

  3. question: is possible to pick up your visa once after the interview has been approved, rather going to the procees of air21? i am planning to make it sure i have the visa, since i will be booking the flight of my fiancee ahead of time. any experiences?

  4. to brainbridge - thanks for checking the petition. i hope, mine was sent yesterday 4/7. My NOA2 was approved last 4/5, per USCIS it was sent on 4/5, saw the website that it has been touched on the same day 4/5/10. But when I check on 4/6, it was updated and touched again on 4/6/10. Does it mean that it was sent on that day 4/6/10. I called NVC last Apr 6,7 and 8 and told me that NVC hasnt received it yet, eventhough they asked if I did received the hardcopy of NOA2, which I havent received it yet, and I told them, yes i did receive. Does anyone know when will I received my NOA2 hardcopy if it was approved on 4/5/10?

Congrats to Feb Filers!!! Planning to go back home to assist my fiance on her interview, planning to go to PI this end of May. Do you think this is feasible for the interview? This is the only vacation that been approved by my employer.

  5. To Tahoma - I like your being assertive.... you rock!! you give me spirit to go on.... i will make "kulit" to NVC until NVC get annoyed!! Like it!! Yea... I agree with you that May 24 - 28 time frame is doable to have the visa. You know, this is the only time, my employer allowed me to have vacation and I want to take advantage of getting back home and assist/bring my fiancee back here in the US. Wow!! you make my day!!... Cheers and thanks!! :D:thumbs:

  6. Per email from USCIS, they mailed my approved petition last Apr 5, 2010. Checked on 4/5 USCIS site, touched on 4/5/2010. Checked on 4/6 USCIS site, touched again 4/6/2010. Does this mean, USCIS (CSC) sent to NVC? If they said that CSC sent last 4/5, why there is another touched on 4/6?

Just trying my luck if they sent to NVC, since earlier posted that CIS sent a bunch of approved petition to NVC? Maybe mine is included? Wishfull thinking here..thanks!!

  7. My NOA2 has bee approved last Apr 5, 2010. I havent received a hard copy. My case was touched again Apr 6. Does it mean that it was send to NVC? Called NVC today, told me that they havent recd yet and to call back Apr 25. Since I want to go back to the Philippines within May 22-Jun 7, 2010, my questions are: (based on your experiences):

    1. When am I going to received NOA2 hard copy?

    2. When is the right time to call NVC, if they recd my case and when they're going to send to the Phil - US Embassy?

    3. Is NVC going to send me (USC) a letter that they received my case? When? Does this letter contain the MNL#? If not, how can I get the MNl#, via email, mail or others? Or do I have to call them and NVC will tell verbally to me over the phone?

    4. Once a received a copy of NOA2, I will email to my fiancee. And if I received MNL#, does St. Lukes accept an email attached copy of NOA2 and email attached copy of letter contain MNL# (or only a verbal MNL# from NVC)?

    5. When can I call US embassy in the Phil to schedule interview appt? Will they aske me an appt letter or what will I tell?

    6. Is it feasible/possible to make schedule interview appt within - May 24 to May 29? If yes, and if everything goes smoothly, when my fiance will be receiving the actual visa? Will it be before June 7?

Sorry for asking to many questions since I have to plan ahead. It's hard to have a vacation leave nowadays at work since I am only allowed between May 22- June 7. And at the same time, I want my fiancee to be with me, when I get back here in the US.

Thanks in advance for reading this post and response.

  8. I've been watching this site since before I sent my I12F package last 2/5. Received mail NOA1 on 2/8; touched 2/10. Well, I was waiting patiently while seeing other people got their NOA2s on time frame which I received my NOA1. I checked this morning, hadnt been touch, no news yet. I've been checking almost 4 times a day. Suddenly when I got home, I have a text msg telling me that my case has beed updated. Checked online, it was in post activity decision. Finally, got an email, WOW!! GOT APPROVED!! Thank you GOD!!.. it was approved and mailed today 4/5/2010. Thanks everyone11

So, what is the next step? Do I have to wait or cal NVC for the MNL# so I can provide my fiancee the MNL# so she can go to St. Lukes without the form? I am planning to go to her interview end of May. Is it advisable to go with her interview? When my fiancee has the letter, I know that she has to call the Embassy. Does she have any options for any appt interview date or the embassy will assign an interview date? BTW, it's Manila Embassy.... thanks a lot for everyone
