  1. I've been calling USEM yesterday, US time, to reschedule F1 interview appt. I called 4x and been hold for an hour. I called again, until they are closed. I dont know if there is something going on in the Phil. or USEM. Anybody experiencing the same thing? Is the Philippines on holiday today or tomorrow?

I will try to call this afternoon US time.

    Thanks.

  2. Help!! I am getting rattle here. I was so excited and filled up DS 156 for my fiancee. My questions are:

    1. After filling it up and printed with a barcode, does it submit to immigration automatically?

    2. On item 31, visa refusal. I put tick "NO" but I figure out that my fiancee applied for a tourist visa

twice before it she was not granted. Is that a refusal? If it is, so I need to file another one?

Will it allow me to submit another one? I think i did a boo boo on this.

Please help me... I feel bad right now and dont know what to do.. :help::help::help::help:

  3. Thanks for your thoughtful advise. Called USEM first thing in the morning (Manila Time) and I was able to move my fiancee interview schedule two days earlier. The call center gal was so nice and she said it was wide open for the month of may for fiancee visa interview. Wow.. thanks everyone!!:thumbs:

  4. For the firs time, can I reschedule my fiancee's USEM interview two days earlier? She will be having mid of next month. And this is my first time to reschedule her interview. I will be going back home earlier so I have to witness her interview earlier and go back in the US together ASAP.

Thanks... It really makes me happy to have a family-like here.. helping each other.. THANKS AGAIN!!:yes:

  5. We passed our interview and are waiting visa delivery. We are so thankful to God and also to those that replied to our questions. :)

Our interview at the desk was only 5 minutes or less. I think he asked us about four questions. The hard part for us I think was all the waiting for each step for our number to be called. But we are just waiting our visa so we can fly to the US for our wedding. :)

Wow!! I am following your thread, CONGRATULATIONS!! My fiancee will be having her interveiw nect mid May. I am getting anxious here and nervous. I will be with here then, am going to visit and witness her interview. What were you questions look like? Have you or can you ask CO for you to pick up visa instead of Air21 delivery. I am planning to bring my fiancee to HKong after her interview for a pleasure vacation and convince her to go with me to US after the vacation. Dont want to stay long in Manila because of the hot weather!!

    CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!! :P

  6. hello vjers!! i got approved yesterday..thank u Lord! :innocent:

but i have ask few questions... :help:

How long does it take to have ur visa delivered??

my friend had her visa approved( 2 weeks ago) but said she was put on AR!that mustve been very frustrating

i mean how could they hold a visa when they already got a pink slip?

and one other friend had her interview a week aho and got aproaved too but she doesnt have her visa yet??

does anyone have the same worries??

    pls share ur experiences.. :bonk:

First of all CONGRATULATIONS!!! For sure, it's on the way. Quick questions, my fiancee will be having her interview this mid of May and I will be there to witness and support her. What were your fiancee's questions look like? Have you ask or can you ask CO that you'll be picking up the visa instead of Air21? Do you need a letter to request for visa pick up (since I saw this question from another thread). I am getting anxious here as days passed by.

Sorry to bother you. I am planning to bring my fiancee to Hkong after her interview for a weekend vacation maybe convince her to go with me to the US. :D

    Thanks again!! and Congrats again.

  7. I just talked to Wilma, she just passed her interview and said it was basically easy like everyone described and she felt that she worried way too much before the interview. She did say the pre-screener was a little mean and asked tougher questions than the CO. I told her to be completely honest and smile and God will guide us. She said the CO just asked a few questions, took my 134 and looked at it, then asked about our photos and that was it, he said welcome to the USA, you passed! But many thanks to everyone that helped answer all my questions....such a great resource we have here!! WoooHooo my baby is coming home on May 13....

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Well done!! My fiancee will be having her interview this mid of May and I will be flying back home to attend her interview. I am getting ready all my documents here. But I have a big question. You have mentione that the CO asked about your photos. In our case, this will be the second time I will be seeing my fiancee. The first time I saw her was last Sept 2009, which we do have lots of pictures which I used for our I129F application. From thereon, we dont have pictures together but we have emails, couple of cards, money remmittance and phone bills which we used a lot for our communication since she doesnt have a computer. I am not sure if I can use the same picture we used to file for our I129F petition application. We can take some pictures right after I arrive in Manila and used it to her interview. I am really afraid that CO will ask pictures from the time we file the petition to the interview event. I really need help here. :help::help: Will this be crucial? :help::help:

  8. hi everyone we have a problem we just approved our petistion on april7 and the letter that my fiancee in us said to me that we just need to wait my kletter coming from the nvc so that we can have our physical and so on...my question is i never received any letter and the nvc said that they travel it in my country within 21 days but nothing letter show up...what we will do so that we can have our physical and interview done hope you guys can help me im really comfused....thanks so much

Call NVC and ask the following: 1. Your case number start with MNL#########. and 2. Ask when it did ship to US Embassy in manila.

Tell your US Petitioner to email you the hardcopy of NOA2 and the verbal case MNL (given by NVC). Go to St. Luke's and show to the guard that your want a med exams. For sure, the guard is going to ask you appt letter. Tell the guard that you have travel far (tell them the exact place so he would beleive), and the only you need in the for is your MNL# (which will be writted down in the PDS form). Believe, it happen to my fiancee. And you are all set to go, just pay the cost.

Second when NVC told on when NVC shipped you can track on when USEM received. Please follow instructions below ( I saw these on the previous threads and it works for me):

For everyone waiting to know if your case has shipped from NVC to Consulate these instructions work:

    1. Go to: http://track.dhl-usa...?nav=TrackByRef

    2. In Reference, enter the info as follows:

    EXP DD MMM YYYYA

    EXP is constant

DD is the date before the day the NVC said they shipped the case.

MMM is the three letters representing the month the NVC shipped the case

YYYY is the year the NVC shipped the case

    A is constant

For example, if the NVC says they shipped the case on February 12 2009, this would be entered as "EXP 11 FEB 2009A"

    3. Date range for shipment - From: Enter the date of the day NVC said they sent the case

    4. Date range for shipment - To: Enter todays date

    5. Keep the rest of the fields blank

    7. Once you enter the info, press "Track"

    8. After a while you will see a list of all of the packages that left the NVC today. You need to search for the specific consulate.

    9. When you find the shipment the corresponds to your consulate, you will see the tracking number that you can record.

    10. You can then track the shipment from the NVC to your specific Consulate

Remember the spaces in the reference because I tried without and it doesn't work. You might have to trawl through the pages to find your shipment but it's worth it for the peace of mind

Then call the USEM and schedule for the interview appt. Either you call or your US petitioner. Call center will need info from fiancee in the Phil, like DOB, address, MNL case no. and others.

Following these intructions, you are all set to go and pay BDO for the interview payment. Trust me I done these things recently. I got my NOA2 approved 4/5/10. Got my fiancee physical 4/19 and 4/10. Partial CFO finished 4/15 and 4/19. Called for interview on 5/24 last 4/22. So we are all set.

    GOOD LUCK!!

  9. Hey Congratulations Gzel!!!

Crissbess: yes you can request to pick up the Visa at the embassy, most times you can get it 2 days after your interview, but it depends on if your interview is not on a Thr/Fri....then you have to wait out the weekend...ideally you could interview on Mon/Tue and be flying out of PI with your Visa

Thanks for your quick response. Actually, our interview is on a Monday, and planning to go to Hongkong over the weekend, and flying from there to the US. I hope that will work.

    THanks again.. !!

  10. Hi,

I have already written a couple of posts here (with questions), and everybody seems to ignore me.. Could you please not do that? Is there anyone who can tell me how to track your case once it goes off to NVC? Please, answer, pleeeeaaaseeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

I just paste this information from another thread. I hope this help.... good luck!!

  11. Arrived at USEM 6am with fear and butterflies on my stomach because of my problem about the affidavit of support that my fiance sent me..( he forgot to tick the I Intent blah..blah..)I'm worried that it will caused delay from getting me a visa...but I just prayed that it wont be a big deal to the consul...Inside USEM I get a number waited for about an hour until the Filipina Pre-screener get all my docs... called again for finger scanning..then last stop is the interview by the consul... He's really kind and not to mention "good-looking" =) He just asked me 2 questions The job of my fiance' and how did we met...I answer his questions with full confidence.... then a moment of silence...He browsed on our photo's... documents... ( I really wanted to faint while he's looking on the papers) then He nod... and said "OK ma'am You're Fantastic, U're visa is now approved..." I don't really know how to react hearing that "magic word" my smile never gets out of my face... :D ...I just said "Thank You sir and God bless you... " and He smiled.... Whew.... I step out of the cabin..still smiling.... i don't care about the people who can see me... I'm happy I get the PINK...!!! Thank YOU guys for all ur advice and prayers.... I'm ready on the next journey... wishing all who are still waiting will also get pink :innocent: ....=)

After you visa has been approved, can you request to pick up your visa/passport instead of via air21? If yes, how many days can be picked up? Question this 'cause I am planning to give my fiancee a mini vacation going to Hongkong 4-5 days after the actual interview.

    But .... Congratulations!!!

  12. Did the NVC give you a tracking number ? I tried asking for that and was told that they do no such thing.....

    Here's how you check:

For everyone waiting to know if your case has shipped from NVC to Consulate these instructions work:

    1. Go to: http://track.dhl-usa...?nav=TrackByRef

    2. In Reference, enter the info as follows:

    9. When you find the shipment the corresponds to your consulate, you will see the tracking number that you can record.

    10. You can then track the shipment from the NVC to your specific Consulate

So in your case, your DHL ref - EXP 13 APR 2010A, if NVC told you that it left on Apr 14,2010. But unfortunately, I checked it for you and I didnt see any pkg shipped from NVC to Manila. You need to call NVC and verify again on when it did ship.

    Good luck!!

  13. If you dont mind me asking, what is the Email address you used to inquire at the USEM ? I for the life of me cannot find it anywhere and would like to email them as well......

Sorry for the late response. Got busy here. Well, you can email US Embassy Manila, through there website. There is an icon on their website on how to get in touch with them via email. In one to two days, they will respond back.

Anyways, I called the center today (4/22 US time), and they already have our approved in their system (as of yesterday, Manila time 4/22). So US Embassy recd it last Monday, and up load in their system yesterday. So it take approx 3 days. BUT!!, remember, this is what the call center told me that US Embassy Manila will NOT send packet 3, but instead my fiancee can go to US website on the all instructions and requirement documents to bring. At the same time, they will send a confirmation letter via email (which I requested to me and my fiancee to be sent and I waited to see via email the confirmation letter before I hang up with the call center).

So for everyone who is waiting for their approved petition: 1. You need to know on when NVC send to USEM so you can track via DHL on when USEM will received the pkg. At the same time, it is also the same day when NVC electronicall send to USEM. So you can email USEM in 2-3 days about your petition. Afterwhich you can call the center to make an appt.

I am getting excited here since I have to go back this May to see and be with my fiancee with her interview.

Thanks everyone and wish me luck!!!:yes::)

  14. Based on DHL trcking, USEM has our PKG from NVC last Mon Apr 19. NVC sent electronically the approved petition to USEM last Apr 15. I emailed USEM last Apr 19 and responde to me back last Apr 20 that I can call the call center to do the interview appt. I called the center yesterday Apr 21, and the call center told me that it isnt yet in the system. I called US embassy, told me that they received from NVC electronically last Apr 15. I told them that USEM received last Apr 19. USEM told me that it will take time to upload in their system. It comes with batches. But my petition is the only one came from NVC to US Manila on that day. So when is the best time to call the center to schedule the interview. I dont want to waste my pin which I paid for $18 for two calls. But I have to schedule asap to plan my trip to the Phil. Any experiences from other VJers.

    Thanks!! :help::help:

  15. I've been reading this site since last Dec 2009 and joined last Feb 2010, as I filed my petition las Feb. I got an approval last Apr 5, had medical last Apr 19 (and done today) and planning to have interveiw in 4th week of May. I have to call USEM to arrange the appt interview.

Okay, you have already approved NOA2 from USCIS, call NVC, several times, until you have MNL# case no. Email your fiancee the copy of NOA2 and the MNL# case no. She can go to St. Lukes and do the medical. The guard wouldnt let her in since she doesnt have any appt letter from the embassy. Show to the guard the email, with NOA2 copy and MNL#. Convince the guard that you travel far just to have the medical, and most likely the guard will let you in.

Call NVC again and again, until you would know on when they ship to Manila. In this way, you can track on where and when the package is. And did you know that, it is the date when NVC electronically sent your case to USEM? So which mean you can call the embassy so schedule for interview. You can verify my sending an email to USEM, inquiring to schedule for appt interview (be sure to email 2-3 days after your pkg ship from NVC to MNL), and put all the information on your email - MNL#, petitioner/beneficiary - DOB and email address. And a day or so, USEM will email back that you can arrange an interview.

Well, in this way, with above information, you can plan ahead of time I hope these help everyon and future VJers.

Good luck and thanks for everyone :thumbs::thumbs:

  16. Thanks...yeah Mhay was keeping track of everything so I could post it here for other people. She knows that I have gotten a lot of help from here...so it is our turn to repay the community.

    Congratulations!!

Well, I will be calling USEM next week for my fiancee interview. What number should I be calling? I am calling from here in the US, do I have to pay something? What do I need to tell them? After the scheduling the interview, is USEM going to send me confirm letter via mail or email? What am I going to present to BDO? How much? And what forms/documents do I need?

Again, thanks for the help... getting nervous here since we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel!!

  17. That is weird...they may have told her not to bother with the medical because she had her menstration. they should have let her in to do it though.

When you said NOA2 email copy...are you talking about the e-mail the site gives you when it is approved or the actual NOA2 I-797? You need an actual copy of the NOA2 I-797 that comes from the USCIS.

It's actual copy of the NOA2 I-797 which I received by mail from USCIS and sent an attached copy via email to my fiancee. This is what she showed to the guard with my email stating her MNL#. But if she didnt have her menstruation, there might be a possibility that she went through but the guard needed to check inside though.

Since I got a confirmation that NVC sent today 4/15 to USEM, when is the best time to call USEM for the interview appt? What document am I going to receive from NVC and/or USEM?

Thanks again..and congrats to you guys... been following up your great success!!

  18. N0A2 approved last 4/5/10. Hard the hard copy 4/8/10. I've bee calling NVC almost 2x daily if NVC recd it. NVC recd 4/12/10. Called them back 2x daily if when NVC going to send the US Embassy Manila.

Got home from work this morning 3am west coast time. Decided to call them again 430A, west coast time - 730A Eastern time. Early worker answered the phone, seems like she hadnt have coffee yet and little bit cranky. She told me that this is a new case and it will take a while and advised me to call back a week. (I didnt buy her statement)

Woke up 12 noontime, I decided to call NVC (3PM Eastern). Talked to NVC, a hispanic nice gentleman answer the phone and told me that it sent 4/15/10. And I double check with him, today? and he said yes. The guy told me that it will take 3-4 weeks to check in Manila.

I went to DHL Traking. I saw the there is a pkg recd by DHL and about to send today to Manila. That's the only PKG leaving to the Phil. When will US Embassy Manila receive the pkg from NVC?

Am I going to receive a confirmation letter from NVC about my case? When is the right time to call Manila Embassy to schedule my fiancee's interview?

Thanks a lot to all VJs. I really rely on you guys, and you all are a great huge help on my process!!! Mabuhay!!

  19. N0A2 approved last 4/5/10. Hard the hard copy 4/8/10. I've bee calling NVC almost 2x daily if NVC recd it. NVC recd 4/12/10. Called them back 2x daily if when NVC going to send the US Embassy Manila.

Thanks and congrats a lot to all VJ here. You all are great.... and this forum help me a lot. And who will say that we need lawyers or attorneys to process our papaers. You rock!! CSC rocks!! To all March filers... hang in there... you're turn will be soon.... THNKS!!

  20. Those will work.

My fiancee went to St. Luke's yesterday with our NOA2 email copy and MNL# just written down on the my email sent to her (which I got verbally from NVC). The guard didnt allow her to proceed her medical since she still had her menstruation and besides she doenst have the appt letter from NVC(?). But if she didnt have her menstruation, there is possibility that she could go but the guardian has to check inside the office.

I am really confused what the guard (St. Luke's need). A email copy of my NOA2 and what letter (?). I thought MNL# which I got verbally from NVC.

Well, I called NVC today 4/15 and told me that they will send today. I check and track the pkg and it will be sent today and saw the DHL# trking sending to Manila Phil.

    Thanks

  21. Since your fiancee is K1 visa, not a tourist visa..she can get a one way ticket. Though both are acceptable, do you think or is there any chance your fiancee go back to Phils before getting her green card? cos tickets are usually 6 months or 1 year and even 3 months. Think about it before you purchase the ticket.

You have a valid thinking if I think my fiancee has a chance of going back to PI before getting her green card. I know it is expensive to buy one way rather than round trip ticket. But both of us are planning to go back home by next year, and swing by for 3 days in Japan. But you have a valid point. Well, the question is how soon she can have a green card (or maybe a conditional green card and can she go home with this status?)?

    Thanks

  22. Ok, Just tried to call that NVC number and I just get a busy tone. What is up with that? Is there another number I can call or is there any other way I can find out if the NVC has received my app???

    Thanks =)

    Tracie

Keep calling that number eventhough you get a busy tone! Dont give up. I, myself, called them twice since last week for almost everyday since NVC got it last Mon 4/12. And now I've been calling them 2x a day on when NVC is going to send to US Embassy in Manila. A nice girl whom I talked, just now told me that NVC got it two days ago. And most likely to be shipped within this week and she advised me to call this cooming Monday. But I will be calling them again 2x until they ship to Manila.

So keep on calling, you never know, NVC might have it... Good Luck!!

  23. thanks jared and may.... i will tell my fiancee to get her medical this week with only the email NAO2 copy and the MNL# which I verbally told her over the phone (which I got from NVC, and confirmed it again today, to make it sure it's the correct and right MNL#)... thanks again... hope she pass the medical and will schedule the interveiw soon, maybe next week.

  24. I just spoke with her again, she said there's just a sea of people.. The guard made an announcement about having an original copy of the invitation letter.. We didn't receive that and I hope they won't send her back home..

I told her to just provide them with the MNL case # and tell them that they never sent us a copy.. Here's hoping it goes smooth..

BTW - Rebtel rocks, very clear and easy to use. I just call a local number and it routes me to her phone.. Wow, ayuz!

To Jared and May ... I know that Milagros successfully done with her medical and eventually her emabassy interview. I have a question. I saw your this thread that Milagros was able to go to Medical without the the invitation or appointment letter from embassy. My fiance is attempting to have her medical this week. She has only the email copy of approved NOA2 and the MNL# (which I got from NVC last night over the phone). Is this sufficient enought to proceed to her medical. I saw your thread that Milagros said that the USEM didnt send the appointment/inviation letter. Did you only provided the NOA2 and wrote the MNL#? ... Thanks in advance for your immediate response. When will be her interview... thanks again. :D
