  1. I think it would be a point coz the consul will see that you have the means to travel anywhere. you have to establish strong ties to the Philippines tho like having a permanent job, substantial bank accounts and other assets. basically the consul has to determine that you will have reasons enough to go back to the Philippines. I know some people tho who got tourist visas without the consul asking for bank accounts and assets. Good luck!

  2. talk to the girl and tell her that you're not comfortable with her calling your husband in the wee hours and that you would appreciate it if she would find someone other than your husband to drive her to anywhere she wants to go. seek counseling before its too late. be strong..

  3. hey you asked what could it be and i said i HOPE it's not a denial letter! you said the operator is not sure whether it is denied or not so there! and even if the embassy keeps your passport, its not a guarantee that you'll get your visa but i sincerely hope your husband will get his visa. vaya con dios!

  4. where would she have to pay the travel tax? will she be able to pay when she checks in at the (JAL)counter?

There's a Phil. Tourism Authority counter near the exit door. She will be ask to pay after checking in at the JAL counter coz they will not release the boarding pass to her until she pays it. They will check if travel tax is included or not on her e-ticket before letting her pay anyway.

  5. I wonder what are the questions that are usually asked at the POE?

Please enlighten me more about this.

    Thanks!

you can read the POE reviews on the task bar. the only question that was ask of me was what is my fiance's name. that's it. POE is dallas by the way.

Congrats and welcome to the USA!

  6. So in my situation.Expedia says there will be no problems.should i just go with that? i dont know what to do? it will be a long process to try and get a refund and purchase the tickets again.

yes, all she needs is the e-ticket, visa, passport, CFO sticker and the packet from the USEm. She needs to pay 1,620 php travel tax if it's not included in the ticket and 750 php terminal fee. She'll be fine. Happy new year too!

  7. Hello i have searched the topics and could not find a correct answer. i purchased a oneway ticket for my fiancee and her daughter from manila to dallas.the problem is the subject of purchasing the tickets for her state side. some say she has to purchase it in the philippines some say it dont matter. expedia.com has told me that there should be no problem.(JAL) so i have called (JAL) and they have told me that they would make a exception for travelers leaving philippines to permanently reside in the united states? does the K-1 fall into this? the information i have found so far is that if it is a visitors visa you have to have a round trip ticket to board the flight. has anybody purchased plane tickets online in the united states and sent the e-ticket to there fiancee have any problems with her boarding the flight? (JAL) i cant get any correct information on this. my fiancee leaves manila on the 16jan.so i need help with this ASAP. thank you for your help

Tho K1 is a non-immigrant visa, it is process as immigrant visa coz of the intent to stay in the United States after marrying the petitioner. You'll be fine with one way ticket. I too flew JAL from manila to japan with one way ticket. and yes it was purchased online.

    Safe trip!
