  1. Dear November 2009 AOS Filers,

I am getting unpatient these days. I have filled my AOS on November 16th of 2009. I have already received my Employment Authorization and Advanced Parole. My AOS got transfered to California Service Center on 01/20/2010. Since then I haven't heard anything from USCIS.

Why is this taking forever??? How many others are out there in my situation? :(

I don't know the answer to your question but I want to send you good vibes. Hope your GC will be in the mail soon. Hang in there.. (F)

  2. we rarely use garlic coz I don't like the smell of it but on occassions that I need to use it, I crush it with a knife then slice it. I don't like using garlic press coz the oil smells like its not gonna come off from your hands in weeks! and the ones in jars smells just horrible, makes me puke! garlic is just not for me.

  3. Hi, my case got transferred to CSC this week and I was wondering how long does it usually take to get a decision now its been transferred? Does the process start all over again and take 4 months like the CSC website says?

If anyone could shed some light on this that would be great.

    Thanks ahead of time

    Todd

Based on experience, our case was transferred to CSC on Dec. 8th and on January 19th I received my green card.

  4. I live in florida but AOS case has been moved to California for processing. I thought the processing for my state was done in Vermont?? Has this happened to anyone else or has something gone array here....

Thanks ahead of time for any replies

That's what happened to me also. My case was transferred to California for processing and after 41 days I received my green card without any interview.

You'll have your green card soon. Congratulations!

  5. Hey November filers! I got this in the mail today:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On January 13, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status.

Oh my! I'm so happy our AOS went without a glitch coz I dissuaded my husband from hiring a lawyer to do all the paperworks.

    You guys are next.. :dance::dance:

  7. you can call the embassy and inquire about your visa or better yet let your fiance do the calling to get a better answer from them. in the mean time, enjoy your days with your family and friends there and when you least expect it your visa packet will be in your doorstep.
