Kwala, did you get through? Im so frustrated now......I thought refilling my case would be a shorter process but it's still long. In God do I put my trust.

My case was denied too and my lawyer advised me to refile. When you appeal, most time it takes long for them to make a decision. I think you should refile. Good luck.

Congratulations Yulisa and all the others who have been approved. My case is still pending since I refiled in January. So far i got a new work permit and travel documents. I'm hoping for the best. Good luck to you all.

Whenever u do the biometrics, that's when u get ur EAD and right now I think USCIS is backed up on cases. I did my biometrics in February and I just got approve last week for my travel document and EAD.

No way u will get ur EAD so soon. They probably schedule u to do a biometrics first b4 getting ur EAD. When I first file, I didn't have to do a biometrics but now I guess we have to do it.

Oh thank you tuna.....now I now why my work permit is taking so long.....I did my biometrics 4 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything from them. I'm so frustrated because I got laid off my job because they need it.

Hi portland, I refiled my case in January and so far I received a RFE for the police clearance and also I got an appointment for biometrics which I did 2 weeks ago. With my VAWA application, I included the I765, I48d and I131. I still haven't received my EAD or travel documents yet and I was wondering why they take so long.

Hi guys, Congrats to those who got approved. I refiled in January and so far I got a RFE for good moral character which I already sent back to them. I also got my biometrics appointment which I did yesterday. Interestingly, when I filed for VAWA the first time, I never receive a biometrics appointment, however I still got a work permit and travel documents. What do you guys think???? I wish you all the best and I hoping we end this journey soon.

Hey guys, I refiled my case last week. I had 3 witnesses, who wrote letters stating they know me and my husband lived together. Pray for me guys, I hoping I get approved this time.

I got the denial letter. Its says I didn't have enough evidence to prove me and my husband lived together. My lawyer thinks I should refile the case with letters from witnesses who knew we lived together. Thank you Kwala and MulanJohns and all the others who gave me opinions on what to do. For some strange reason, my I485 is not denied.

I think I'm going to appeal. Whenever I get the NOID I will inform u guys what's the reason for denial. Thanks you for all your advice. I'm going through I tough time right now. I been crying from Thursday. I just hope I get through this.

Hey guys, my case was denied yesterday. I'm sooo depressed. I waited for a full year and this is the result. Is there anyone here who got denied and appealed and got through???? I'm waiting for my lawyer to get the letter. I think it was denied because me and my husband didn't have a lot of assets together. All I had was the cable bill. Any advice????? Thank you.

My first affidavit was detailed with information about me and my husband meetings, times when he picked up my son from school, my wedding pics, valentines day pics, etc......I don't know what else to do even though I haven't heard anything since April from USCIS.......I don't know if they want something else or its a denial. Hey Ashley, I'm somewhat in the same position like you. USCIS asked me for a RFE for good faith. However, me and my husband did not have a lot of assests or bills together because he was a lazy ####. My lawyer helped me to write a rebuttal statement explaining my living conditions with my husband. Up to now I haven't heard anything since April. My case is going into a year and I don't know what to do. it got tpouched in Sept but I still haven't gotten a decision. I wish u all the best and I'm praying for the misery to end. Hey Transporter, u can get Medicaid, food stamp and financial aid for school. I'm not sure what other benefits you can get. Good luck though.

Hey guys, my case was touched on the 19th of September but i still didnt get a decision yet. In addition, my I131 was also touched that same day which is kind of weird becaz the travel documents were approved since January. What do u guys think????? Thanx for your help. I cant wait for this long process to be over so i can move forward with my life. God bless you alllll!!!!!!

Pascal, my EAD was approved and I got the card in January. In June it was touched again. I sent my RFE in April and I still haven't gotten a decision. The timeline is a waste of time. I filed since November of last year but my lawyer advised me not to rush them to make a decision. Just have patience guys. God will make a way for us.
