Then it'll be new clothes for the trip, new luggage... I'm destined to be broke but with a great big smile on my face.
At least the passport isn't another 7 month wait....
-
Ha! No kidding.. Hot damn, so we're filing in December. I better start planning our 2014 European vacation with her new US Passport. :-)
$680 for the N400 eh? Man, it'll be nice to be done with all these fees.
-
I strongly recommend you make an Infopass appointment and speak with an immigration officer about your situation. https://infopass.uscis.gov/info_lang.php?sel_lang=en
-
Yeah, I was referring to the waiting.
Hey, you're filing the N400 in November?? I thought it's 3 years after green card? May got her first green card in March 2011, so we were planning to file March 2014. Do I have that wrong?
-
Wife did her biometrics today, and just like everyone else it was like 15 minutes.. The nice thing was she drove herself.
-
Biometrics scheduled for 1/14/2013.. I'd add it but there's a high percentage that I'll f-up the formatting..
-
Ahhh gotcha.. :-)
Sorry just a little grumpy. Wife has been temping and they're not hiring her after her temp period is up. She can't seem to find steady work around here and the single income game isn't much fun.
-
Now that you have your NOA - officially welcome to the boat, hehe.
Thanks brother! :-)
Weird I am not able to track my EAC number just yet, but figure I'll deal with that problem in 9 months when they actually kick the box with our application. Merry Christmas, that's $590 I could have spent on better things!

Affidavits are not necessary in any shape or form if there's other primary proof, which 'confusing' seems to have supplies.
If anything, if RFE is issued (in any of the cases, not just in this), it's nice to have something else in your arsenal to send, something like affidavits, for example.
Hey Capt, I keep f'ing up my post..
Can you add us?
12/11 was our file date
12/17 is our NOA date
Just got the paperwork in the mail. Thanks bro.
-
#######, retrying this.
-
Ya same here, money has left my checking account.. Waiting on the NOA.
-
My wife's had to pay it each time no matter what type of ticket we've purchased.. 1650 Philippine Pesos each time.. Ugh.
-
My bad, sorry
Half asleep here :-(
Hey man no worries.. Wife stopped at the post office today during her lunch break and sent the papers out USPS Priority mail.. Should be there on Friday. I'll post in the approved format once appropriate.
-
Wassup, buddy? :-)
Living the dream my brother.. :-)
I was wondering who we'd see around these parts.. I should've sent the package out today but didn't get a chance to run out to the Post Office. I'll probably be rolling through tomorrow.. Got all my papers in place.. Oh well..
Not as big of a rush this time around. Wife's here, working, etc.. Hurry up and wait 10 months.
kamusta, I also sent my I-751 yesterday(December 10 2012) and we have the same filling location(USCIS Vermont Service Center)
good luck to us let me know what happen to your paper, salamat.
Mabuti po.. Ikaw?
Papers going out tomorrow come hell or high water..
Salamat din.

I'm finishing up the packet this weekend and then mailing it out on Monday.. This wait is certainly going to be much easier than the K1 one..
-
I find that there's more leg room on the Asiana Airlines plane config than on Delta.. Not sure if it's 1-2 inches more, but it makes s huge difference!
-
She pays before/during the check-in process at the airport. It's 1650 PHP.
-
We've got our plane tickets, Ponce Suites Davao booked ($102 for the week), pasalubong (microwave, laptop, digi cam, food), some spending money, a pair of havianas.. I think we're good to go.. Wife's got her passport, green card, and our marriage cert.. I think we're ready to go..
