Have her send the signed form. Don't even risk the chance that you might get a checklist for a new DS-230. When NVC has been completed and her interview is scheduled send her back all the copies you saved so that she can have them for the interview. My wife had extra originals of all her civil documents which was good because at the interview the CO said they did not see her NBI in the packet. The wife was able to pull another one out and give to them.

You don't need to send a copy of the forms; just the civil documents for the DS-230 (IV)

Make a complete duplicate of everything you send just in case.

I would give it at least into next month. When mine was being processed we were going at least 5 months average and as DanTes mentioned there have been issues with TSC. I would go the thread that was mentioned and see what is happening with other people going through TSC.

Since December pinoytawag and magic jack have just been awful for me calling to Butuan. I would say 3/4 time I can not get through. Rebtel has been really good but the cost is just so painful.

As recommended, yes get a second original. My wife was at her interview and they said they could not find her clearance in the packet. Luckily she had a complete second set of all her documents.

Indeed keep a copy of everything. One of my wife's police clearance certificates was missing when she went to her interview. Luckily I had her get four copies of all her official certificates. We did use regular pictures; just made cheap paper copies of them for the front loading and again for the interview.

I always get out of my happy bubble when I read stories about anything that has to do with islam.....I read the comments by other people, and it just makes me sad that so many people hate muslims....I hope my husband is happy here!

There are plenty of people that don't care at all about what religion you are. One of my best friends is a Persian and Muslim and who and what she is has nothing to do with the daily news. Just help your husband to ignore the trash that make his religion an issue.
