Hi,folks!

I am freaking out! It is shame to confess but when I filled out my G325A - I put my mother's year of birth wrong!! What should I do now? I almost have a heart attack! Will it be a problem if some day I invite her here and it will be a big deal with a different data! I am so stupid! Can I change it somehow??

Kate, I doubt it is going to be a big deal. I mean, I don't think they will record every single piece of info for reference later to compare at the POE when tourists come, don't think our systems are sooo robust, but that's just my opinion, others may disagree

Good news!!!! Today I received an email stating my i765 was returned(as expected) but I called and did a change of address the good news is the post office was able to track a letter from immigration and guess what letter it was?!!!

My biometrics!!!! I'm so relieved and excited! My appointment is nov. 19!!!

Funny fact! When I got it I told my husband I need to let my family know! He expected me to grab the phone and call somebody but I got on the computer and types www.visajourney.com and my husband laughed! Thanks all for the support!

I called the 1800 number to try and get my biometrics faxed the first guy I spoke to said that they could not do that and put me on hold and my call dropped which turned out to be a good thing because the next person I spoke to told me to give it until Monday. My biometrics she said is scheduled for nov. 19. She said if it is not here by then to call back and they could indeed fax it to me. I guess everyone is different, I must say I have had more luck with women. So now I will wait until Monday.

Ok so since it is not likely the biometrics letter will get here at all or on time what should my husband and I do? We have yet to receive any letter since this mistake happened.

I'd keep trying the 800 number. Last month when simbafuzz called, they said they could fax him a copy of the bio appt letter if his did not arrive. (simbafuzz, is that right?)

Great memory Greg, just a teeny error, fax 'her' a copy, not 'him' ...

Monica, just have a fax number ready, and call the 800 number and after explaining the situation, ask them if they could fax you a copy of the letter just so you can finish the bio. I think they do it without hassle. And no need to reschedule, it will just delay the process, like we didn't already have enough of that. Just make sure, you speak to somebody who will listen to you and find a solution, even if it means getting transferred a million times.

And also sweet talk them to see if they can tell you what RFE is about? maybe you can work on getting the docs together after the bio. Just my 2 cents, hope that helps

Thanks so much for this I will try this. Last time I called the guy had originally said they couldn't fax it because they needed to scan a barcode or something of that sort. I guess everyone is different. It is super close to the date I have to get my bio, I really hope this works. I will try it first thing tomorrow and let you know what happens. @monicaolivo: hi, i know ur worried right now but since they got ur package and had cashed ur check it should mean that u got an NOA1. I notice that most of the dates of letter and check encashments (as well as mine) that its NOA1 first before they encash the cheque. I hope that its just a little delay in the mail. by the way, how come you can check ur case online right now? where did you see the RFE online? I still cant access mine, been trying everyday since i got the letter.

They told me the NOA'S were sent the 20th so I figured it was enough time to where it would show online. Since I don't have anything with the receipt number I called the 1800 number to ask what my numbers were

No, nothing on the envelope about forwarding or not forwarding. It is sent first class.

I got my case number by calling the 1800 number they were also able to tell me my biometrics was sent out and although they couldn't give me exact day it is the second week of November they said. They also said if it gets to me late I can go any wednesday after I get it. I'm praying I get the letter so I don't have to reschedule and delay my case. Thx for your responses greg

Is there any way if I call the 1800 number that I can get my case number? I still have not received my NOA's I realized that the address on the application was the one to the apartment but we don't use that one anymore we have a PO box. We did do a change of address at the post office and they said we should get all the mail that is sent to the apartment to our PO Box. However he also said that it might take up to two weeks for the mail to show up at the PO Box... I'm worried that I will get my biometrics letter late. When I called yesterday the USCIS person said it hadn't been sent , but by looking at some of the posts I am noticing that they may not always be correct. I don't know how else to find out if a biometrics appointment has been scheduled . I am so sad . I should have put the PO Box on the applications!

I received my NOA's yesterday... Did you try going to your old apartment? I think even if some of your mails goes to your old apartment address, I'm sure it will be mailed back and hopefully will be put to your P.O box. Just hang in there cause I know some of us are worrying about getting our NOA's & Biometrics letter. Wait for tomorrows mail.. Keep us updated!

I still live at the same apartment but since we are moving into the university dorms soon we just went ahead and got a po box and had everything forwarded to it. I still check the mail at the apartment since i have the key but we haven't been receiving any mail there... Hopefully its in your mail tomorrow. My NOA's was dated on Oct 21 and i just got it today. Since yours was mailed on the 20th of this month, I hope you get it tomorrow.. Just hang in there.

By the way, which service center is your case in, guys? Mine is in MSC (NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER in Missouri). And I would suggest to add the line in spreadsheet if we have different service centers,if not, doesn't matter)

Well it has been more than a week sine I send the AOS for my husband but nothing yet. They haven't cash the check yet.

Hello! Hola! Salut! I think my package will be sent next week and Im confused about one main things, maybe someone out there can please answer me, my confusions are:

1) If im filing the I - 130 concurrently with the I-485, do I only pay the $1010 dollars for both of them (including the biometrics fee) or do i pay $355 (I-130) plus the $1010 (I-485 + biometrics)?
