  1. First of all, I agree with JaP and thats all Im going to say about that.

    Secondly,

Our interview was an interview from hell! The officer was very militant... He started us off by reprimanding us for talking... which fine, I get that. It is an interview. Then he asked for our LPR documents and my documents of proof as a US citizen. Then he proceeded to talk about our age difference. Then he asked for our documents of shared things. We didn't have a lot to begin with. I explained why. He asked if either of us was married before or had children. He asked random questions off of the I-485. He then proceeded to seperate us. I kept saying a prayer to God to help Steve and I be on the same page with things and to tell the WHOLE truth as we knew it. When Steve left, he proceeded to remind me that Jamaica is high fraud country and that I needed to be careful because they needed to make sure he wasn't trying to use me to gain access to the good ol U S of A.

Questions asked in no particular order: (This is when I looked him square in the eyes in "Rashida mode"

Have you ever been married before?

    Do you have children?

    How many?

What are there names and ages?

    Oh they have different fathers..

    What hours do I work?

    What hours does he work?

How much money does he give you?

Does he give you extra money?

What are you in school for?

What is the make and model and year of your car?

How do you get to work?

How does he get to work?

    Do you have wedding pictures?

    Who was at your wedding?

Can I have two of the pictures for your file?

Who helped him get his job?

    What color are the bedsheets?

What color are the rugs in the bathroom?

    When did you meet?

    How did you meet?

How many times have you been to Jamaica?

Why did you go to Jamaica?

Im probably forgetting the rest of them. Then he called Steve back in and questioned him:

    Where did you meet?

    What year did you meet?

How many times has your wife been to Jamaica?

What color are the bed sheets?

    What color are the rugs

How many times have you been married.

    How old are her children?

Do you get along with her son?

What is she in school for?

What time does she get home?

    Do you give her money?

Probably more questions but I can't remember...

Steve told them the wrong year and I kept kicking his foot. He then remember by saying "I got the dates confused, I met her in blah blah blah"

After all of the questioning, he said well you started off rocky, but I will make my decision by the end of the day. You should receive something in the mail in the next 2 to 3 weeks. If you don't agree with the results you can schedule an infopass appoint and blah blah blah thats all I heard. I damn near ran out of the building. We were there for 1 and 1/2 hours.

  2. Goodmorning yardies!!

Hey sugar! I would tell my mother in law the same thing if I were you. I don't know how visas are issued in JA. I thought that once you make a certain amount, show proof that you have ties to JA such as a property, job etc that that qualifies you. SMDH, immigration, embassy, all a hot mess!

    Hello MyJamWifey, congrats!!

I don't know the answer to your question, I would guess that it would be to the embassy, since they're th ones that requested it and that's where he'll have his interview...

  4. Lady C, so they didn't say approved or not?

I always wanted a girl 1st but at this point I don't care what the sex is, I just can't wait for it to be born so I can look it in the eye and say "so you're the one that was making me miserable"

DW thanks but I wish I felt as good as you say I look. Actually, today is the 1st day in a long time since I woke up feeling good, maybe its because I know I don't have to go to work.

JQ, you and those pictures stay cracking me up!

Damn, sucks to be your coworker, I got chills reading that!

No they did not say. From what i have read Baltimore sends it in the mail. But i have a great feeling about it.

  5. Girl First Trimester is a HOT MESS! You'll get over it, your lucky its not like my friend here at work, she is 18 weeks and she has to have some kind of medicine pumped in her stomach so she can keep down her food. She wears it inserted in her stomach and she has a pouch that she wears to keep the syringe in.

Yay lets see if its a baby or t8719.gif

My crystal ball say it a Girl.....

    Short & Sweet

  7. We are great thanks for asking. Hows my friend Gar, and Jaheim is his behavior getting any better

Girl Garfield is doing good. Jaheim has his moments. The biggest thing now is his education. We have another meeting on Wednesday to see if they will put him back in 1st grage. Its really hard. He does not retain a thing and he is not interesded in anything that has to do with learning. Other than that we hanging in there.

  8. I been gone a long time. I gotta catch up. My job has put this girl on the road for training. Back now. We had two major inspections over the past few weeks and I have been working extra to get things in order. Thank God we passed them both. So I am enjoying my Friday off.

Also I been under the weather for the past three weeks. I had a damn sinus infection, the meds to help that gave me a yeast infection (which is horrible when you are prego), now I have a cough that is killing my ribs. And of course you can't take a whole lot of meds, so I a suffering. Ok. Now that, that is out of the way......

Eric, took his test about 2 or 3 weeks ago. He doesn't ask many questions. But they told him that now they will have to send DNA test kit to Jamaica Embassy, then my daughter will has to come in and do her part. Then the Embassy sends kit back to U.S., then results are drawn up and notice sent to Eric and Embassy. Longer process then I thought. But we are now offically on the wait list....Once again

I hope you feel better soon. Being preggo and sick is no joke. Good luck on your new visa journey.
