Found it. Anyhow who got approved today? On the side note for the people that have been approved how long does it take to get your NOA2 hard copy?

How do you found out dhl tracking information to the ebassy? My file was sent 10/21/09

Thanks for the information. She hasn't seen this aunt in years so she wants to stay in New York for a week with the connecting flight a week later to Florida. She I'm Polish too so we have no problem talking to each other. She does read some english but doesn't speak much or understand to much either. I feel like I can't help her when she enters. I can't fly up to New York either because of work. I have a limited amount of time off and when she gets here I'm going to have to use that to get all the paper work and everything taken care of with the marriage and AOS file.

Well here is what's going to happen we get the K-1 Visa. She is going to have her flight go to JFK and she will stay there for a week visiting a some family that she hasn't seen in a very long time. Her connecting flight will be a week later in Tampa, Florida. Do you guys think this is a bad idea or could cause some problems for her at her POE?

So, i'm totally obsessed with the USCIS site now, so while i should be catching up on the mountain of paperwork i checked the 2382 cases that were opened Sept. 24 (my NOA1 date). I know, I have a problem.

But here's some interesting stats, if you are interested (I'm a data junkie):

2382 cases opened that day

55 are Fiance petitions

of the 55:

12 Approved

10 RFE'd

33 still in initial review

Breakdown of action dates:

10/08:

1 Approval

4 Approvals

PS: just a caveat - there was a huge gap of numbers where there were no fiance petitions, which was weird but i do think i checked every single number...though i could have made a mistake!

No I think you are pretty accurate. When I got tipped off on the idea of doing this, last week, I sat down and tried to go through every one of the 9/24 petitions. There was a huge stretch of numbers that were not for K1 visa.. lots of AOS, EADS and things like that. I did not have the patience to sit and go through every case number, and it was driving me crazy, but went through a lot of them.. and noticed the same thing.

I just know you and Kayla are going to be getting yours soon. I was really hoping to see the two of you get yours, because then I would know mine might be on the way. I have been checking all day, watching for news from the two of you.. and everyone else!!!

OOPS! Sorry I got you hooked! Congratulations everyone so far. So.. here is a question.. how the heck do you plan your wedding? We were supposed to get married October 31, had everything planned and then had to cancel. It was a very special date for us, but now we don't even know when to think about planning one. We wanted family there, etc. What is everyone doing?

Well we just plan on having the civil wedding done with so we can do the AOS and once we are set with her green card we are having a big wedding in Poland. With All her and my family in Poland it's the only place to have it. We would have to close the embassy down for all the visa appilcations that they would recieve. Going to be around 150 people for our wedding and she is probably going to choose the same place to have it as her sister just had this past July when I was there with her. See in Poland a civil wedding still isn't looked upon as a real wedding speaking in terms of a catholic person esp. the older folks. I look at it the same this one here is just to get our paper work down and we can have our so called real wedding later in Poland. Maybe August 2010 if we get everything done in time if not it's going to be July/August 2011. Our church wedding can only be done once with very few reason a catholic marriage can be ended by the church. We still follow the older ways not everyone but a lot do. I can't wait til she is here and can't wait to start planning our wedding in Poland.

They MUST be working late, because I just checked the status 30 minutes ago and there was NO CHANGE.

I want to call Fuat right now and tell him.. but it's 4:30am and I have to wake him for work in 2 hours. I told him I would call him when it happened.. no matter how late it was.. but I don't know what to do? Let him sleep??? Oh I did not think I would be THIS excited when it happened.. but there was no way I was expecting it when it came.

I am floored. It's only been 25 days.

Alright I searched and didn't find anything on this. We are working on the forms for a K-1 Visa. On question 26. It ask How Long Do You Intend To Stay in The U.S.? What do you answer to that?

On the form question 44. "Were you assisted in completing this application?" If I filled this form out for my fiancée do I put my information there?

Does Part I or both parts need to be filled out. I know you fill out part one but what do you do with the other part? Is it not needed for a K1 Visa?

I just got approved and we only mailed one copy of the new form.

I had to check my case like 5 times and had my boss check it a few times cause I couldn't believe it.

We got ours approved today 10-16-09 It was a great day and made the boss at work write me a letter of employment. Can't wait to she her again. Getting closer. Good luck to the VSC September filers and hopefully VSC will keep up their pace.

DON'T ASK how she did her own research! I found out.. and now I am going to be even more obsessed than I was. I wish I hadn't read your other post on how you did this. I didn't wait for my next day off Started checking it tonight. It must have taken you forever to go through all the 9/2 petitions. I'm sure it's just fine. Look at some people that still filed few months before us and they are just now getting approved. Just sit back and have a drink. It's going to happen one day and it's going to be soon. Just have to think positive.

Congrats to the ones that got their NOA2. Now we are 218 on Igor's list. People from the same NOA1 date as mine recieved theirs makes me happy and I keep checking all the time lol. Maybe to much.

Wow. That's crazy. This should go without saying, but I hope I am so lucky. If your numbers work for me, I should be getting really happy around November 2nd. Good lord!

Now there are 7 September filers approved from VSC. One of them was only 20 days!

The pictures and the phone plan should work well enought bring the bills and the pictures to the interview and you should be good to go.

Question to add to this since it's about an engagment ring. Does it help your case when she has a ring on her finger? Because I won't be able to go with her to the interview or see her until she can come here. I did get her a nice ring cause it was a long time planning thing since we been seeing each other since 2006 summer.

You should recieve it in that time. They told me like 10-15 days and I looked in my mail box the other day and I recieved it already. Good luck with your case. I'm a guy but I'm a person that gets everything done ahead of time I don't like rushing or waiting to the last min for things. My boss at work really likes it lol
