  1. A separation agreement is not a divorce decree. Wait until you have that decree before filing any immigration papers anywhere. Onceyou are legally free to marry, by itself there is no red flag -- unless the embassy has some additional reasons to question the visa application.

I'm already divorced .I mentioned the separation aggrement to let them know I ve been living on my own for 10month . Coz I heard recent divorce is a red flag thanks

  2. Hi and happy new year to everybody.my question is : is recent divorce a big red flag in us embassy in morocco ? Any body get denied for that? I've been seperated for 10 month before my divorce is final I have a seperation aggrement from the court house do I need to be worried about it? Can anyone tell where to find a forum about redfalgs in us embassy in morocco. Thank you for your help in advance

  3. Yours might be in "AP" for a day, a few days more, or in months.

Here's how it went for me in the NVC stage:

09/25/09- the NVC said, "Your case is just being put into the system." Highest praises to God Almighty.

    09/28/09- new case number given

09/29/09- The NVC guy told me that my case is under AP. I hope it's only for a few days. Lord Jesus, have mercy.

09/30/09- "Your case was forwarded to the Embassy." Thank You, Lord God! AP for just a day. Ahehehe...

    Hakuna matata.

    God bless us all.

    FAE :luv:

Ap on what ? The case is been already aproved from INS . Or they start all over at the NVC?

  4. My 129f just approved yesterday.thank God. so now what??? what next ???? what do i ahve to do?

    thanks in advance

    congrats,

now, once the NVC got ur file after few weeks, they 'll send it to consulate in morocco (casablanca)then, after it, the consulate 'll send the package to ur fiance & she /he must go do medical tests ( on the package, she/he 'll get all documents required that she need for the interview+ list of doctors) then have all documents ready ( originals+ traduction+ proof) &----> the interview voila, that's all

dont forget to send her affidavit+ taxes

    good luck

    thank you i appreciate it

  5. You can start gathering the other documents.... like affidavit etc.

Check it out on this guide: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1guide

thanks do i need to call the nvc to have a case number or to check?????

Wait for a while. Your 129f was approved yesterday only so there is no way NVC will be having your case in there. Give yourself a weeks time and then call NVC. Now the next step is to gather all the required documents. Refer to GUIDES and will have some idea how to go about the case now.

    Good Luck

Thank you for helping. Anybody has the Nvc phone number?when I call what information do I need to give them ?

  6. You are Moroccan? Did you come here on a K1 with an American woman and recently got divorced?

if i came on a k1, i'm gonna know the procedure? and i don't have to ask.if you can't help be quite

He or she was asking because if you did come here on a K1, married a USC, then divorced her and went back to Morocco to marry a Moroccan woman, it will raise suspicions. The shorter the previous marriage (esp if the divorce came soon after citizenship), the harder it will be to get a visa for your fiancee. That's not anyone here being judgemental, it's reality. We need information so we can give you the best advice.

Relax - if people here had a problem with people from other countries, they wouldn't be on this forum. And the person you're being nasty to is either Moroccan, or married to one.

    Peace

    thanks verybody for you support

i came here with a tourist visa . i met my wife we got married.and we've been married for seven years and three month. we've been seperated for 1 year separation , i got my citizenchip 2 years ago

Then it shouldn't be an issue. I hope your fiancee gets one of the nicer ones for her interview! Best of luck.

  8. Geez, Charles. The thread went :poof!: and I thought I was losing my mind

I think my red flags are age gap , I just get divorced, and the time between knowing my wife and the engagement

  9. Hello everybody,I hope somebody can help me .my situation is : I m 34 years old I'm us citizen from morocco. Went back home to get married with Moroccan girl. So my famille show me this girl by the way that 's the most common way to marry there. She's 19 we get engaged a week after that. I came back to the state I filed for k1 approximately month and 1/2 between engagement and filling.everything is fine between me and my fiancée we talk everyday on the phone letter ...my k1 still pending I didn't know about redflags before . So what should I do ? Withdraw my petition to avoid the denial ? Or take my chances with k1.

One more thing there is 2month gap between my divorce and my engagement. Thanks for your help in advance

The age difference is rather large but besides that, from what you state, I don't see any other red flags. Don't worry about it, go ahead with the k1 inchallah. And why is your name mike lol

mike is my middle name I add it when I got my ctizenchip
