Recently, we issued a request for evidence (RFE) (today 9/17/09) for EAC09--------------. Would appreciate an update on this I-129 petition filed in April 2009 by our constituent for his fiancée. Information regarding current processing times would be helpful. Many thanks for your assistance in responding to Mr. ---------

The aide also told me that VSC are doing December 2009 applications right now

    any opinions ?

  2. Hi y'all, We got a request for "initial" evidence on Monday....we've been all over the application and found a tick box not ticked. It's the only thing that we can find - hopefully that's it but until we get the snail mail we won't know. aarrgghh!! hey at least someone picked up our file..i'm trying to be positive...just hope we don't get stuck at the bottom of another pile

Yea same thing happened with our Case, Trust me it is some thing small but it can hold you up for 2 or 3 weeks.Im now hitting 2 week and they have resumed work on out case on the 8th,.It could go on for another week but there is nothing we can do. They have all the power and we can only seat back and hope its done sooner then later. They tell you 60 days but thats just a number it is always sooner then that.

Can anyone tell me how to look and see if I get a touch, maybe I am doing something wrong, i go to there site sign in with my password, then my receipt # comes up and a blue date, so i click on the date and nothing, so i click on my receipt # and it take me to we received your petition on 4-3-09 and all of this other junk, so am i doing it right?

the date is a touch or when it was last updated

  3. Welcome to my Hell !!!!

I just called the USCIS and some polite idiot told me that the reason for the 2nd update (touch) is that they sent me an email that my case is currently under review and I have to wait another 60 days. This is about outside of processing timeframes bs . FYI i didnt receive that email ( maybe not yet ) and i totally realized how idiotic all this system is. Complaining about processing times and pushed further 60 days kind of disciplinary action or penalty just for bothering them. With exception of lucky NOA2 receivers everyone here are miserable mushrooms.

I dont believe that the 60 days is a punishment by any means... It is just their way of saying GO AWAY and dont bother us for a while.

Why would they send you an email, did you put in a service request?

I put service request based on outside of processing timeframes and they accepted since in their system its says as of April 23 not 5 months like we see it. I just called my congressman rep to inquiry again. But not nolding my breath

just got the damned letter !!!!!:

  6. After touch yesterday I got another touch this morning. Wonder what would that be ???? Anyone had 2 touches and then what ? Blank or RFE or Approval ?

You've asked the same question on 4 different threads...maybe you should just start a new topic instead so a wider variety of people would see it.

Thank you all for your kind words I really wish they had to experience what we are going/have gone through, might make them do their jobs right for once... Hopefully Thursday will be a better day for us, otherwise we may be moving to australia or more likely Canada were at the very least we can both get work visas to be together.....

I hope you get this over with soon and don't have to relocate to a new place to finally be together. Although...Canada is a fabulous place to live as well ;)

thanks for suggestion. But the reason why I did that is not for people to see it , just to ask most competent people on whole board which seems to be in these 4 different threads. Everyone else is just not enough experienced with USCIS bs

  7. After touch yesterday I got another touch this morning. Wonder what would that be ???? Anyone had 2 touches and then what ? Blank or RFE or Approval ?

I know of one person that received 4 or 5 touches and then a denial... (RARE)..... It is just my opinion mind you but a few touches without an approval probably means there is something that is making them work a little harder on your file verses someone elses. And therefore more probable to get an RFE. Let's hope that there is an approval today for you.

Having said what I said... and thinking about it some more.... there have even been cases that got a few touches... then nothing... only to get a snail mail in the mail 10 days later saying that they were approved... There was even one day, I think it was March 12th, that there were a whole bunch like this 5 or 6 people got touched for the second time... then nothing... some of those called the NVC and they already had their case... well before the NOA2 came in the snail mail.

There doesn't seem to me, to be any rhyme or reason to their madness... I would consider yourself lucky for even getting the touch...

    My kingdom for a touch!!

Thanks !!!!!! lets see. there is very little we can do with these bastards

Did u place an expedite request or just a request outside of timeframe ?

sorry didnt pay attention . they are pretty bizarre over at VSC

  11. Good morning !

Called damned USCIS these morons told me the same bs that i see on website. i placed the request on "outside the processing times " type of ####### . These imbeciles confirmed that they process April 23 as of now, not 5 months as website saying. My question is : Do you guys think that placing request is actually make my case being processed longer since they allow 30 days to respond, or this could be a reason they pick their lazy bottoms over there and do something useful for a change ????? Appreciate the answer .

I am surprized they placed service request for you before 5 months mark. But most likely, it is not gonna change anything anyway.

They did because they looked at processing times and it said April 23 not 5 months . The website is a big white lie . if its not gonna change anything then why to play with people nerves ????? they are truly beasts bloodsucking insects vsc uscis csc nvc dhs .

Just got first touch 1.5 hours after my call What do u think ? Its a first touch since April

Do you get a touch with a service request? I don't think you do...must be your approval!

Just got it in hour and a half after my phone call
