    Don't worry about him not being there, the denials should be ok since the were due to your marriage right? Not sure about the previous visa but it should be pretty cut and dry so long as you didn't overstay.

    Again, she addressed all but one question to me not hubby but be warned there is a lot of waiting and I was nauseous (also, eat breakfast! lol) so it helped to have someone...

    Less than five min. She said it was because we were an easy case (first marriage, no kids). In my opinion it helped that hubby was there both for moral support and for the interview. She asked me:

    - If I was ever arrested

    - If I had trouble crossing the border (denials,etc.)

    -First marriage

    - Any kids

    She asked both of us how we met. Hope that mini review helps ha ha

      Wow, that was fast! Only about 3 and a half months from case complete to interview. Better than 5 months! ;)

      Yay! You heard back from your OPTIN then? I'll keep my toes crossed for no RFEs for you. My fingers are already crossed for my NOA2.

      Yep it took 3 weeks though! Ha ha...I'll keep my toes crossed for you so we're even lol. I enjoyed NVC because there's actually something to get done...but now back to waiting!

      Wow, 3 weeks. You think it'd be faster since it's electronic and all. I'm really hoping they improve on the communication by the time I get there. Thanks for keeping your toes crossed! And yes, I can't wait for NVC, at least I'll be doing something instead of just waiting here like I am now.

    OMG we did the stupidest thing...got our lines crossed so hubby e-mailed in I-864EZw/tax docs and I e-mailed in I-864w/tax docs. I called NVC and the operator was trying hard not to laugh...we totally deserve it though.

    I think I'll call again tonight and ask for a supervisor. I thought you could send DS-3032 to NVCInquiry only if you were doing paper. Geez...so confused!

    No, he clearly said you have not chosen your agent of choice...He told me to e-mail Agent of Choice separately but I have no idea if that means I opt out of EP. I told him it's with my OPTIN e-mail like NVC instruction and then he said to give it more time.

    I ended up calling...the operator first tried to get me to send in email DS-3032. I reminded him that NVC instruactions state that I send it with my OPTIN E-mail. He agreed and said to give them more time (he said till the middle of November) so I'm calling BS on that...not quite sure where to go from here. Let me know what they end up telling you when you call in.

    None yet...I ended up just emailing I-864 without OPTIN acceptance. I'm going to call tonight so maybe I'll update later. What about you?

    No OPTIN acceptance yet...I called after ten business days and they asked me to call back in a week. Hopefully it goes through within the week.

      I have all the paperwork. We still need to pay the bill and I need to go get passport photos done up. At a standstill for now....How was thanksgiving with your man?

      Yay for being prepared! Passport pics don't take long, so you're good to go. Sucks you can't do anything right now except wait for NVC to hurry their #### up.

      Thanksgiving was good :) We didn't eat turkey or anything, lol. Just celebrated my b-day at a Japanese restaurant. Nom nom. :D
