    Getting Interview at Islamabad

    Hi Everyone,

    I applied for my wife through NVC in February. I just checked NVC's AVR, and our case is complete as of Nov 17, 2009. For those of you who might have applied for Islamabad, do you know if NVC will assign the interview? I heard some people saying that for Islamabad, American Express contacts you to assign an interview time.

    Appreciate your help.

    NVC will assign u an interview date , Am-Ex only reschedules interview dates , so soon u will get an interview appointment letter from NVC , Best of luck

    as our interview date is coming we are getting more scared of this AP . this AP really sux, Khalidnfatima were in AP for 5 months and after that their visa got denied and sent back to USCIS , OH Allah plz help all of these AP victoms

    I know the feeling!!! December 16th will be a big deal for both of us- I will keep you and your wife in my prayers- I hope we make through it still standing

    we got the visa alhamdulillah we just took them the statement from my imam and a signed affadavit from my parents. alhamdulillah they didnt ask for anything else and they were very polite to my wife this time. Allah makes a way out from every difficulty for those who fear him. thanks to all for the responses. i think they had the right to ask for that since in india they have the muslim marriage act. so no harm inshaAllah. we will be coming back to salt lake in the second week of december inshaAllah. thanks to all
