LOL! That's a wonderful plan! Or you can just cuddle for the entire night, sipping hot cocoa, and watch the sunrise together in the morning.. and what's great is you can do that all over again the next night, and the night after that, and the night after that, so on.. cheesy, but hey, you've waited a looonnnggg time for this!

opo you are right. She always tell me she just want a simple life. And after this long hard journey, relaxation is just what the doctor ordered. But the small barangay shes from, the only entertainment was singing songs to each other. Until we formed and hosted a singing contest for the children. Basta I must at least take her to a 3D movie :-D But I will go slow bit by bit.. Then Yahoooo we will get on a Rollercoaster! joke lang.. siguro...

I think it's because NSO gives out a different CENOMAR if you're married. I'm not sure, but I think they said it's called CEMAR (Certificate of Marriage or something). It states that you're married to your wife and vise versa. With CENOMAR, it only certifies that you're single and not married to anybody else. I asked my husband to file for a request a few weeks ago for his interview. I hope we won't be missing any important documents 'cause I'll be going ho...

Hi Teya, Things are going well here. Losing my mind trying to clean my home.. I want it to be sparkling clean with scented candles and those... you know, those cinnamon scented Pine Cones and so on. whewww. But I am so far away from that plan. How about you? how are things going on your journey?

Things are going much better than I planned. My wife is in a comfortable condo very close to the embassy. We have an excellent Skype connection which allow us to see and talk to each other all day and all night. I wish she had that kind of internet signal in her village. I am so very d@mn excited. But I am going crazy trying to clean our home. Basta! She Must Come To A Clean Home...

Uhhh I was considering flying to pickup my wife and return to the US together. I thought it was as easy as booking a round trip ticket for me and a one way ticket for her on a returning flight. It now appears to be a very difficult task.

1. Emirta, 2. Malate, 3. Paco, are the closest places to the embassy/ st luke. Those are the three barangays surrounding the facilities. Emirta is where both St Luke and the Embassy reside.

If you don't live in the Manila area, I highly recommend getting an apartment instead of a hotel. Apartments in the Malate area are nice, close, fully furnished and reasonably priced. Roomrent.com, sulit.com, olx.com have pretty good listings. My wife is in Manila now and she is so comfortable with her one month stay, no worries about delays in the medical exam. Make sure you track the DHL using the LingChe Shortcut tip, because the embassy really gives the runaround about when the paperwork is delivered. Having the info puts the operators on their heels.

Also, I think my wife and I will get on some horses. So I can include mine with TheJesal's and yourself. I'm 6'4 so it better be one of those clydesdale horses. I dont think My wife has ever seen a horse in real life. Still, I want to copy the style cuz its pretty cool.

Nope they are 5 of my hundreds of Cousin inlaws :-D Well I'm really working on it, but it looks like I will be there shortly after. I've received many huge blessings from God lately, maybe there's a chance I can get there before her date. I just pray, work and look for opportunities. Every trip I've taken there, I didnt expect I could do it. I will grab any opportunity.

I never worked this hard for anyone or anything in my entire life. Once she gets here, I will just lay my head in her lap and go to sleep. I am totally drained. One thing is true. You have to really love the person deeply to endure this process. I'd do it again 10 times over.

When NVC sends the package to the embassy, make sure u track it through DHL. Knowing the date it arrived and who signed the delivery, will really give you a great tool against the operators who will most likely tell you the package is not there. Good luck because things will start moving pretty fast.

Oops I forgot to thank Chis&Cecil.. sorry :-( I did get the email from NVC but they said only to contact embassy. I really had to call them many times to get a date. Tracking the DHL and signed confirmation really helped fend off the op who will certainly say " we dont have your records here, call back later for another 18 dollars"

Have you tried calling them? I am sure the NOA2 must be in the Mail Ganun Talaga! I think you should call them.. I didnt get a touch or an alert. Only Mail in the Box.
