I started crying and he called me after I texted him.

He told me not to worry since he will come see min in 5 days. He said just to email amman embassy and see what they can do.

Should I contact the wrong embassy as well... I was told only Amman can request package.. Baghdad will not send anything..

Now I have to wait till Sunday for their response.

How can NVC send a package to a place where my fiancé does not live there.

I called NVC to check status on my K-1 after seeing on DHL that a package sent to Amman Jordan.

The operator said that our case is sent to Baghdad. I told her but we requested Amman as the consulate. She said since we could not contact him we sent it to Baghdad his place of birth.

My fiancé cannot go to Baghdad, he is Canadian working with US military in Iraq. They live on a US base and cannot just wonder around in Iraq.

I asked the NVC how can I get it to Amman she said to send them email asking to see if they can take it and then they can ask Baghdad to transfer.

What can I do, whom can I talk to get this fixed.

Please advice.

Hi,

Things must get complicated.

I was this afternoon that one case sent to Amman, Jordan.

I called NVC and after talking to operator, she said that our case is sent to Baghdad, Iraq???? What the hell..

I told her but we requested Amman Jordan, why did it go to Iraq. She said because we did not have a way to contact him.

I said but he is military living on a base cannot go to Baghdad.

She said I can contact Amman jordan and see if they can take my case, and then they can contact Baghdad.

What can I do more than sending email.. why does this has to be complicated...

What number should be used to track the case? is it same as the USCIS number?

OMG we got our NOA2 last night... I am so happy. Just checked my mail and saw the email from uscis, my heart started pounding like crazy..... I am still at work so I need to keep myself a little reserved in front of the kids ( i am a teacher) ..

This´is going to be such a wonderful day....

Batta, you're canadian right, you are the beneficiary and he is the petitioner.

The package 3 is sent to you by your local ambassy.

I am US citizen, he is canadian, he is working in Iraq and we applied for Jordan embassy..

I checked he will get emails not mail

You can start to call NVC after 4 days, do it on friday I guess.

Package 3 is sent by snail mail to whoever is the beneficiary.

He is in Iraq? what mail would arrive there? are u sure

I got approved.... I just refreshed the website 10 minutes ago there was nothing.. and now I checked after 5 minutes and I am appproved at 4:46 PM

I am so happy... thank you all for the support...

We called NVC yesterday and was informed that our documents were sent to UAE Embassy, do they send a notice from NVC? and I would like to know how we can schedule the interview with the embassy and thus an advance Medical is advisable?

I hope someone here can lighten up our confusion.

I think that you will get your NOA2 this week.. Dont worry, this is a third week after your RFE, so NOA2 has to be this week!!!

It is Tuesday Oct 20th...

Let's hear some good news today.. for everyone waiting on their NOA2... " Lord in your name we ask"

I am getting to the stage where I need someone to put me to sleep and wake me up when NOA2 arrive or else I would enter mental house soon.

I saw someone with RFE from August filers got approved and it seems it took 2 weeks from RFE time...

I will be checking here all day long.. it became addiction.. I cannot vent to my fiance so must vent to you guys.. " Sorry"

Yes, I got the email and my man got the text message alert (not that it did actually alert him as I already did but still )

You should get it this week too, I'm pretty sure. Go look at the date of the people who got the last approvals, someone is working on the last July petitions.

Congraulation... I still checked and nothing happened... trust me even if it is past 5 PM I was still checking... I guess I will go to sleep with a thought that there is a chance tomorrow.

Oct 14th - Touch with email saying my RFE response recieved and file is being updated.

Oct 15th - Touch which I am thinking they sending mail to say they recieved it

Oct 16th - Touch but not sure why?? @ 7:11 AM Central time

Oct 19th - Been checking all morning, no touch ... Just now as of 12:46 PM I saw a Touch....

Can someone tell me what are they doing.... My heart is pounding just want to have a clue...

I am trying to be positive this week and hope for the following:

- NOA2 to arrive

- Hunny to leave Jordan and come to USA - No more Iraq

I have posted on my facebook asking all family and friends for a prayer ..

So we might want to do something different here, let's not only ask for a prayer, but whoever feel like lighting a candel please do this.

As many of the 20 some people are waiting .. I can only tell you how hard it is.

I looked over the weekend to see how long it takes for NOA2 to be approved after they recieve it. I got discouraged as many people never got answer after their RFE, not sure if they did not update their status or what...

I pary that most of the july folks get their NOA2 and fly to the next step..

This waiting game is killing me...

So my file was touched on 14th which I understood to update the case with my RFE.. Then on 15th which meant they are going to send me a mail notice.. but what on earth they touch my file this morning at 7 AM!!

Could it be true that I am going to hear something.. or just a way for them to play with our feelings...

I know everyone glad it is Friday.. but this means I have to wait for Monday to see what else will happen..

Should I wait till it is approved, and sent to NVC and change it?

FYI .....

You might want to research the waiting times in Canada for an interview. I thought I read in this Forum that the waiting time is crazy long there.

Maybe look in the April 2009 K1 filers thread to see if you can find what I'm talking about.

I read about that as well.. it seems Monteral is too long.. but Vancover is not.. I spoke to someone who got approved from May, and with 3 weeks from the NOA2 they had interview schedule and person is already in USA.. cause vancover they give you dates within 2-5 days

Batta, I don't want to disappoint you but from what I've seen they process RFE's in 2-3 weeks minimum and it can go up to 2 or 3 months.

Well, let's keep the "best data". I'm afraid calling right now would just be useless. Everybody says that calling is useless anyway.

If you want to check how long it can last, you just go on Igor's list and look at the people who got an RFE and you can see when they actually finally got their NOA2.

I'm sorry but I forgot, what was the RFE about? If that is the unchecked box, I'd say it's going to last 3 weeks max.

Our RFE was because we sent the Order of his previous divorce, not the certificate. He was divorced twice ( both only court wedding because he wanted to bring his brides from middle east). In both cases he divorced before they arrived to canada.

Stupid me when putting package together, I included the order for the 2nd one but not the certificate.. so actually it is a matter of showing court he is single again..

Now that I am back in the states.. and he is still in Jordan finishing some business. I hope he will be here in 2 weeks,, I pray for that..

Still not decided if I need to move the case from Jordan embassy to Canada or not. I think after speaking with someone it seems Canada Vancover would be best. I will have to email them to check.

Since my dad choise snail mail.. they recieved the RFE on Oct 10th and it is signed.

I checked the site nothing happened to my file..

Do you think I should call them or allow few days and wait? How long does it take after an RFE recieved?

Help... I am running out of paitent..
