  1. I know u do come thru for me. Thanks

I have a few more questions. My mum is gonna be our co-sponsor.what is required of her...

I need her w2 form? if yes ...from what year?

do i also need her to get a tax transcripts

does she need a letter from her employer?

and again, what forms does she has to file.

since the packet 3 link is broken.I guess i have to wait for the embassy for it

and again,i emailed the embassy today asking if they got my paperwork and requesting for an interview date.

    Thanks a million.

You could go and get it done if you like however you will need something to show you have an interview coming up have you received pkt 3 via email yet? that will have all the paperwork you need to finish up everything before the interview. And according to Nigeriaorbust the link is broken and cant be downloaded in advance anymore. There is no rush for the medical you will have plenty of time between notification of the interview and the actual interview....Good luck to ya!!!!!

  2. I just got APPROVED

On April 9, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I almost lost hope today......To everyone expecting their NOA2....ITS ON THE WAY

    Jesus is awesome...Thanks VJers

  3. Pls have a job lined up. I just got back from a 3 month trip to nigeria to be with my fiance. It was easier for me to get a job cos am a wedding photographer.

So before u make dat move. Have a job ready.

And again, have a co-sponsor ready because your income in nigeria might not be a enough based on 125% poverty requirement.

  4. Not so happy right now.

Yesterday,i went to the post office to apply for a US passport.....so i gave them my naturalization certificate.

My fiance mailed the package through fed ex...I just received it. Am tryna compile the whole paperwork together and i disovered my naturalization certificate is missing(they took it from me at the post office to process my US passport). Now in a fix.....what do i do since i need a copy to send with my i-129f application...Please help me...

  5. Thanks....How many pictures of us...do u think is sufficient ?Dont wanna bombard them with all.:)

Another question....What do u think of me including pictures... my fiancé took with my family and pictures of me with his family??? I have heard all of scary stuffs about Nigerian embassy.(dont want them thinking we are married)

    Thanks again.

Yes it goes there. Don't forget to label photos, and even provide a brief description of who is in the such as Photo #3 , July 2007 , me and my fiance Suzie Smith visiting her parents John and Mary Smith in Lagos.

  6. I replaced it with that.

    Thanks Ryan H.

I would suggest replacing "To Whom It May Concern" with "Dear Sir or Madam." While the former is not incorrect and would not cause you any difficulty whatsoever. It's just my own opinion that the latter has a more personal feel to it.

Again, very trivial, but sometimes it's the little things that can make all the difference.

According to the sample guides here on VJ, where you have put your address on your cover letter is fine.

Best wishes on your journey and congratulations on your citizenship!

  7. Thanks G-A....Replaced it with that....

    Thanks.

they want to know how and when you met in person WITHIN THE LAST TWO YEARS...not "how you met". "I visited my fiance in Nigeria in February, 2010" for example, would be fine. Attach copies of evidence you were there (passport stamps, boarding passes and photos for example) Job done. You do not have to describe more than one meeting or the first meeting or the last meeting. Just ONE meeting within the last two years.
