guys I'm almost sending my initial package but I have some doubts can someone help me pls... if we send the initial package i-129f through a binder we can be denied?? another question is at the time of my interview here in my country, what documents do I take to proof the financial support since my fiance is self-employed and I'm a little confused about the documents..

First Question, I do not believe you will be denied unless USCIS has changed the rules, 11 yrs ago i sent my i-129f in and had it in a 3 ring binder with divider tabs stating what each one was, as far as for financial support you will need to show some type of money earning for the year (maybe more yrs) like a tax return i do believe.

Had my interview today nd passed. It lasted about 30 mins. nd so fortunate to have the only female officer ...So lucky to have her since shes so nice to me,makes me feel relax nd calm.. She got my I.D 's nd passport nd had finger prints nd picture...Civic test follow nd the reading nd writing test it doesn't take 5 mins.for that...What takes so long is the N-400 papers she read it every page of it..nd also ask me all those "NO's" questions...hehe...The addional documents she ask me are our 2017 Tax Returns nd she take a look our  Marriage Cert. (my copy).. I'm hoping i can have my oath ceremony next month..Thanks to everyone in here who share there experience ,it helps a lot to those who's still waiting..Thanks Again nd GOD BLESS US ALL..

    Great! Congrats!!!

Mine was sent out July 26 (according to USCIS) and I started getting worried the notice was lost in the mail after 1 week of not receiving it (Montgomery office is about 1 hr from where I live). Yesterday, I made an electronic request for the notice on USCIS website and the auto response said they should respond to me by August 25. I went home 30 mins later only to find the notice in my mailbox. Oath scheduled for August 14!

would be nice if my wife's was that date

Congrats to her. You’re almost done. If my timeline is anything to go about, it took 2 weeks from interview to “in line for oath”, then 3 days to “oath notice mailed”.....but I understand that it also depends on the officer. She may even get the oath sooner.

Received a email on 31st from uscis saying

We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time

I had my interview at Montgomery AL office on monday and I was given a paper that stated Congratulations! your application is recommended for approval. I would like to know when my online status will change and how soon they will schedule my Oath ceremony because the office looks new and pretty small.

Congrats on passing interview, don't know about how long it takes to get oath, read somewhere they hold oath taking once a month,  wife is still waiting for interview to be scheduled.

Mine is a K1 AOS - I wonder if somehow that makes a difference as the interviews are slightly different... Perhaps it is time to contact your congressperson... I put in a SR a week ago and I seriously wonder whether that kicked them up the behind somewhat... I could be wrong but we will never know now. Your congressperson will carry some weight at least. I can’t even begin to imagine how frustrated you are. Have you tried looking on this site?

    https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant

Mine stated on the site above that my interview was ready to be scheduled back in August 2017. On my case tracker it still said ‘fingerprint fee received’ since May 18th 2017.. 🙄 just seeing the August update really helped. I hope yours has a similar update and gives you some kind of hope.

done been to our congressman several times, next step will be our senator, I have account at that web site and it say's the same thing the old site said, mine is for citizenship

Are you still waiting? Something is wrong if you are. How does somebody with a filing date well after you get an interview this coming June?

we are still waiting, USCIS does not go by your case number, they go by the order they receive the case. I did a 100 case number search starting with 50 numbers below what ours is, and out of the 100 there was only one number that had not had a interview or oath, guess who's number that was?
