Usually, there is no 'acceptance' of the I-864. The AVR is only updated to reflect a RFE pertaining to the AOS documents.

OK got it. i will call monday. and as for the ds-230? NO my wife will mail police certificate to me on monday and i will receive it end of next week.. and after i get it i will mail it to NVC the next day... and IF everything is fine i guess i'l be done with NVC atleast on my part. right?

then i'l wait for SIF and interview date... God willing.

All I can tell you is that the AVR never said our I864 was accepted. It changed to the message about waiting biographic forms.

I spoke with an operator at that point who told me the I864 was accepted.

the message in AVR is... the NVC is awaiting biographic forms from Petitioner.

after doing some search i found out that this message means that NVC is asking to submit ds-230 with required civil documents.

BUT.. does this mean that my I 864 was accepted by NVC.. because as far as i understand the I 864 process comes BEFORE ds-230 NO?????

If not then why they asking me to submit ds-230 ? because according to their system i 864 is not there? is it possible???? can NVC ask for ds-230 BEFORE AOS I 864?????

OK so my wife was able to get police cert. and she will mail the documents to me on monday and next week friday i will send em to NVC....

Now... my I 864 was delivered almost 10 days ago and nothing ... they have not updated my case. or entered into theur system.. whats going on... and also... i did not write my case number on upper right hand corner of each page... maybe thats why? even the operator told me yesterday that they dont have my I 864 package. and dont see if it was received ny them too... damn ...

the usps delivery confirmation says the package was signed by National Visa center.

My case was going super fast but i see a bump.stall.

No need to panic. It usually takes them a while to move stuff from the mailroom and input it into the AVR.

Check back on Friday evening again.

Okay so they received my AOS papers last week wednesday, and signed by national Visa center. today when i called.. operator told me they dont have it....he was not able to see that they did receive em??? WTH.... my package got lost in NVC mail room? maybe.what should i do?

I mailed I 864 documents and NVC received em thursday.... how do i find out that everything is fine with those papers.. or there is RFE???

i am waiting for my wife's police certificate.... she is having trouble getting it.. because police is telling her to provide a letter from consulate that she needs one... so... we are still working on it.

One thing i read that applicants birth certificate should have Mother's name too... well in pakistan only dad's name is on birth certificate... not mother's.... so i dont know how this is gonna be?

I am going to send AOS thing tomorrow BUT ds 230? i am missing police certificate... so wont be able to send that until its mailed to me from my wife.ughhhhhhh. OR shuld i send it in without it and let NVC issue a checklist???? this way atleast they will process my other documents. no?

guys,make sure when you send an email to NVC that you get an auto response. i sent our 3032 last thur and didn't get an auto response. paid aos fee the same day and its still in process right now which is already the 3rd business day. called up nvc operator, he said they did not receive any email for my 3032!!! i did snail mail the paper 3032 last fri.... anyway, i emailed 3032 again right after speaking with nvc and thank God, finally an auto response within minutes. lost a few days probably due to this issue....

lesson learned: make sure you get an auto response for every correspondence thru email. while it does not mean acceptance by nvc, at least you know that their computer received what you sent.

Ummmm i didnt get any auto response BUT my ds 3032 e mail WAS accepted like a week after i sent .

OK ..one question about I 864... On affidavit of support form i should only mention my wife right? who is applicant. NOT my daughter..** who is US citizen ** but will be coming here with her mother / my wife. so basically i am only supporting my wife in this affidavit.. NOT my daughter.... cuz she is citizen.. right???

Hello friends... My 70 $ and 400$ are showing paid online. and i also printed document cover sheets for both AOS and IV document processing thing. Now when do i send in I 864 affidavit of support and DS 230?????

i read in instructions Warning: Do not take any action described above without authorization from the NVC. Taking action without the NVC's authorization could result in a delay in processing.

so when would NVC will tell me to go ahead and send I 864 and IV document processing ds 230 stuff????

what do i do now after both the fees are showing paid.???

Sounds good...but not together . I'll use those $4 for something else related to this process . You also saved on the AOS fee which is going up from $70 to $88! So there is $18. Are you going to take yourself out to dinner and a movie .

hmmm ok so i saved 18 dollars... i think i'l save 18 bucks ...when my wife enters we'l go for movie the next day. 9$ each ticket= 18 bucks. and i'l say that NVC gave us 2 free movie tickets.

Yeah, not to big on a decrease. Still would pay shipping fees of documents though . On the other hand, the passport goes up in price. Which sucks because I need a new one with my married name so I will need to pay the extra for having to change it. I though it was interesting the right now, it is free to drop your USC title but after July 13th, it will be $450!

Eeeeep! Apparently I was blind before. The fee went from $400 to $355 but the security fee went from $45 to $74. So the new fee is : $404 instead of $400. Nevermind....no one saves anything. They just get to pay $4 more but the weight of where it is going has changed. Yikes! Man....that totally sucks!!!! Yikes!!!! They are increasing the $70 AOS fee to $88! Ok, I retract my earlier statements , I am glad I paid ahead of time. Poor every one who is still waiting!

Oh jee.. i have already paid 400 IV bill.. good so instead of paying more i paid less.... GO nvc... i'l use those 4 bucks to get myself nice cold Coke and strawberry icecream float from baskin robins. hows that.......

I know u and deb were and are sooo nice. today when i checked online the status of my AOS bill.. it says its still in process BUT also my IV application bill is also ready to be paid... and i also got ds 3032 acceptance e mail from NVC on friday... so should i go ahead and pay IV bill? even though my AOS payment is still in process?

anyway, emailed our ds3032 last night... its been over a day, no automated reply for the emailed form. a bit worried. i guess this is one time mailing the actual 3032 is warranted, which is what i did today.

Thanx..... and i got e mail of ds 3032 acceptance on friday from them.. telling me they got it and also i snail mailed then ds 3032 on friday as well. so i would say give it like 5 days, for them to e mail u back about ds 3032.

oh yah and i never got any auto confirmation responce from them after i sent then e mail.

WOW friends i need quick help..

i just received two e mails from NVC and one is ds 3032 and AOS support fee thing. and second e mail looks like suppose to go to my wife which is ds3032 form with my wife's address of pakistan.

now how do i e mail then this form which is ds 3032? should I save it and e mail then with attachment???? or how do i do it. and which form ds 3032 should i send it by mail??? the one they sent to me or the one they sent to my wife with my wife's international addresss? dang i am so confused already... i may do things wrong here plz help.

my wife has been trying to reach NVC number...but the numbers been so busy. anybody else faced the prob?

and hey waiter, teya, march2010.. the AOS fee and IV fee is to be paid online, right? And for that, you need

1. credit/debit card/ online banking account

2. IIN which NVC opertaor has to provide

3. NVC Case number.

and Teya, no co-sponsor. dropped the idea of requesting that uncle. we will rely on the current income of my wife...

Ummm yeah lines are mostly busy but i had success bu re dialing couple of times. I think u need U S based checking account for payments. and for IIN have no idea who gives that...

I got the choice of agent and AOS bill (via email)that same day I gave them the two emails.

I also sent out the choice of agent email to them that same day. It was just fine.

Have your checkbook ready because you will need it to pay your AoS fee tomorrow.

I wish if that was the case.... i have not receive any e mail from them.. about anything... and i gave them my e mail and stuff in the early morning. i called them 7:30 am and was on hold till 8:10 , then finally got to speak to someone. looks like they only have my case scanned in to their system BUT not manually put into the system yet. lets see.

It is amazing. That is one of the great things about VJ. Free, almost-instantaneous information available at your fingertips, sometimes, even without you asking for it. And, hon, whether you like it or not, you ARE a NVC noob. Nothing to get 'offended' about. I was a 'noob' too, not too long back, and was grateful for every word of advice, tip, helpful suggestion, nugget of wisdom that I received from those who chose to stick around after their respective VJs were over. They, along with my NVC buddies, are the only reason I got through this process with an ounce of my sanity left. You clearly don't appreciate well-wishers, so henceforth, just ignore whatever I post and I'll do the same. Ya?

I just called today saturday july 3rd and got my case number which was assigned on july 2nd. so i am sure totosan u have a case number waiting for yah.
