  1. hey my fellow filipinos!

how long does it normally take to get an interview date after you get your no2? 2 weeks after you receive the packet 3?

i am really hoping that my fiancee will be here for the holidays..

    thank you in advance!

Got my NOA2 on Oct 8, to NVC on the 12th and on the 15th they forwarded it to USEM...my fiance called USEM last Monday, the 26th and was told we are eligible for interview this Nov. But we decided to do it in January instead =)

December is possible if u start processing the requirements soonest, and medical of course. Good luck!

  2. I love this update, its so cute. :)

    Thanks!

Anyone is welcome to add to it, delete from it, and change it however they would like!!! I only listed people that have been active lately or that I knew about off the top of my head.

I received RFE 2 weeks ago actually. :P thanks!! they are real cute. :)

    Yeah! It's super cute!

Hey! What's going on with Marie NOA2? I thought she would get it during this month! Hang in there girl!

Also for all the couples who are still waiting for their NOA2´s!

    Don't feel discouraged!

PS: I have my interview in December 30th, YAY! And I got my Medical Exam yesterday with vaccines and all (yes, there's one that really hurts... my arm still hurts! :( )

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY for your interview date. Take a bottle of Champagne with you to the interview and share it with the interviewer!!!!

ugh--- I'm still waiting for my stupid NOA2!! no updates yet. Nothing since my service request.

    It is what it is.

Just got off the phone with the liason from the congressmans office and she was in contact with her rep at USCIS. Not too much to report other than the USCIS rep did confirm my response was received and logged into the system.

Hopefully this will prompt work on the file!!

    :luv::luv::luv:

I have to use this emoticon because I can never find a reason to use it and I think its cute!!

    Malarie

Still nothing eh? I'm hoping for a halloween surprise for you!!! At least they took it in as an RFE?! that's good news right?? <---Halloweed and I have never used that one and always wanted to! hehehe

Wel HELLO -- we got a touch today. I'm thinking the congressmans call did something!!!

    CROSSING FINGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Malarie :):):)

That's good news Malarie! You know what guys, i may not be posting very frequently but I always keep myself updated with this thread, waiting for July'ers to get their NOA2s and I'm really...really hoping that everyone will get to celebrate the holidays with their S.O. My fiance just called our consulate and ask if he could schedule my interview in January because he will be coming here for the holidays and he wants to go with me during my interview, but they said its too early to call for the January schedule. The consulate gave us the Nov 13, but we really want to have it on January..so we will just call back in December. I'm planning to fly to US in April next year (I know that's a looong wait), WORK SUCKS!!! oh well, atleast I have a loooot of time to prepare for everything

To Kristin, hope you get well soon =)

  3. Get her a Voter's ID and you might want to use an agency to get her a passport. Agencies have the proper connections inside the DFA and they may be able to get a passport for her. You will pay more but sans the hassle.

    Goodluck.

Is your fiancee a registered voter? She could go to the municipal hall and ask there where she can get her ID. She can also apply for a driver's license, but I think she need a student permit first before she can apply for an ID, im not sure though =) I agrre with jom. Your fiance should ask assistance from an agency ( a legit agency) to apply for her passport. They charge extra for an expedite case, but its ok =D

  4. Congratulations T&G and Maria & Nick! I'm so happy to see more and more approvals as July goes by. Btw, our NOA2 arrived today =)

I'm really hoping to see Marie and Malarie's NOA2 this week so we can all celebrate! You are still within Igor's timeline so nothing to worry. Cheer up! It's only the 14th, and we still have 2 weeks for July.

    Have a great day everyone!

  5. Nancy,

Just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday!!! I wish you many many more years and that all dreams come true!!

Wait ...let me try this instead, My fiance and I, wish you a happy birthday and hope all that all your dreams come true!!!

(I should get used to saying it that way! haha)

    Happy Birthday! :star:

    (F)

Thank you so much, Sweetie! :luv: And that wishing on behalf of both of you looks awfully good on you!! ;)

Hey, maybe the August NOA1 approval was an expedited case of some sort. Military perhaps? Just a thought.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I wish you all the love in the world (F) (L)(L)(L)(L)(L)

  6. What's happening to CSC?? <sigh> Last month, June filers started to get their NOA2s during the last week of August. And now, i saw an August filer being approved. What the heck?? What's happening to JULIERS? I'm trying to be positive during this process, but im getting frustrated everytime i check the USCIS website and Igor's. And my timeline move backwards! Maybe i should take a week off from those websites

  7. I think AJINOMOTO is obsolete (can't find the right word, hehe). I'm no longer using it, as MSG is not really good for our health (well, according to what i have read) You can find alternative spices for ur wifey's dishes. Yeah, she can use Magic Sarap or Knorr. In California, there's a Sea Food Market where you can find almost all kind of Filipino stuff. Maybe you know someone from Cali who can buy you Ajinomoto and ship it to your house. Well, i think that's the least thing that you can do =)

  8. What if we just count the number of days left in September instead of counting the June NOA2s??? No matter what, OCTOBER is our month! :) and were just 8 days away!:dance::dance:

The first phase of this so called "visa journey" wil soon be over...and what's next?? Journey to the Consulate =)

I hope CSC will move faster this week (meaning, some overtime work) as the fiscal year will end on the 30th.
