Hi guys, my wife did her biometrics yesterday...took less than 20 mins i believe. Now, i keep getting case updates since last night which was the 1st one and just an hour or 2 ago got another one...weird...but they are all about a case transfer and something about the case being done in california for it to be processes faster? now...why everyone wants a transfer? please explain and what should i expect from this transfer?

Yes and No... No because her appointment is THIS monday the 22nd which is next week and yes because i will go in early and see if she can go ahead of her appointment time.

Just got a text message from USCIS (lol the irony), saying the following:

"On March 16, 2010, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. "

So...since its being transferred to CSC...does it mean we wont have an interview since it was transferred there? I live in ny and doesnt make sense that it was transferred to california... there is a big immigration office building here in nyc where they could review the case and have the interview as well...idk, im just curious... please advice? anyone?

Hey guys, i got the biometrics schedule but no touch at the USCIS case status website... its stuck at received and initial review... is it that much work to do updates on a person's case?... i understand the load but a little paragraph can give alot of peace of mind to a person wondering whats the status on hi/her case...

Just got over the mail my wife's NOA2 biometrics appointment. Its gonna be March 22nd at 10am

Guys my check was cashed and guess what, i cant confirm anything yet but it looks like there was no need for Kathy to go to the civil surgeon. I just played with my luck and see what happens, i was expecting the whole package to be sent back to me due to the fact that i just sent copies of her vaccines transcript which were in english and spanish but so far well... the check was cashed and my guess is that the process is on... unless i get a RFE but at this point i doubt it but we'll see, this will be confirmed once i get my NOA1 for the AOS...

I wish it would but for a person that has been very close to her family and raised with value of being close to each other and all its just something that it will take alot of time... we will also work on bringing her dog during this year... i know.... shes a very sensitive girl... but she's studying english hard and already wants to work so thats a good sign.

Yep...but this process should be much faster than our K1's...thankfully!

Yup, hopefully and I'll finally be able to go back to Peru with her...I want to visit my sick grandmom and shes missing her family alot...its sad to see her cry sometimes missing them...

well, she gave up her family for me in a way... i guess giving up a nice 52'' oled tv or a brand new computer or a cosmetic job to my car (buying nice rims and make it more sporty) doesnt match to what she gave up for me (family, career, friends, home) so i guess she deserves that and more, thats love my friend lol

No, I think you'll have to wait for the numbers on the NOA1,,, You should have those within about 10-14 days I would think.

Yup...lets sit and wait... i know i might get them back for a reason or two, i know how they are but its better to know whats wrong than to overdo the whole thing but Im thinking positive and we're just standing by to get an answer, i know for a fact that once i see that the check has been cashed that's good news (also learned from experience from the K1 process lol)

Anyways, Kathy turned 23 and she's happy but she still misses her family alot, what im looking forward right now the most is the advanced parole so we could go visit even if i go for a week and kathy for two, it's sad to just see a person crying and seeing her family over the webcam and they sing happy birthday for her and cant even hug her... I'll do my best so we could always visit once or twice per year... but we'll also work hard to make that happen.

Yes, I sent two money orders one for 930.00 for the AOS portion and one for $80.oo for the biometrics. The ONLY reason I did that was because my bank can't print money orders for over $1000.00 dollars. I had read on here that you could split the $1010 amount up into those two amounts so that's what I did...

Question for you....have you signed up on the USCIS site to track your cases?

No... that's something that I totally forgot to include... sadly i will have to wait for NOA1 to get the case # and that way track it... unless there is a way i could still give them my info so they could send me updates...

Good morning everyone! Had a great family dinner with Kathy yesterday and friday my friends are coming over for a party to celebrate her bday.

BTW...last friday Kathy won VIP passes to a nyc latin club and with bottle service and so on for the whole night ( i asked around and all was worth 400+$ lol)... all she did was sent a text and they called her and it was her and 3 people... lets just say last friday was a blast and we started her bday right lol
