Con migracion no se sabe, mi caso fue transferido a California el 2 de Junio y hoy ya esta la aprobacion

Pero claro, no me quejo para nada!!!

Creo que al regresar es cuando te cuestionan el porque de tu viaje y si al oficial que te toca le parece que la razon no es "valida" te niegan la entrada.

Quiero compartir con ustedes que hoy recibí la GC!! Estamos demasiado felices. La tarjeta es hasta bonita, y estoy sorprendida porque no quedé tan mal en la foto como pensaba, claro que la firma si me quedó como torcida. .... Bueno ahora si se acabó el descanso jeje.

Igualmente, de todo corazón espero que pronto todos reciban actualizaciones y aprobaciones.

Entonces solo nececitas un medico certificado que transcriba esa informacion a la I-693 si es que te pideron esa forma para tu entrevista, lee este foro que me parece tiene informacion buena.

Da clic aqui para encontrar un Medico certificado por migracion, solo pon tu codigo postal y te mostrara los mas cercanos.

Te pusieron las vacunas en Colombia?

Te cuento que en mi pais no son requeridas para la visa K-1, cuando llegue aqui fui a mi centro de salud cercano y me pusieron MMR, Tdap y la prueba de tuberculosis en la piel.

Cuando fui con el medico me puso la vacuna Td, lleno la forma I-693 y me entrego un sobre cerrado para migracion y una copia para mi.

Lo que si es que debes tener cuidado e investigar con varios porque algunos buscan solo sacar dinero alegando que necesitas el examen medico completo siendo que el que te hicieron en tu pais es valido por un anio.

Cada dia me sorprendo mas con migracion, a nosotros nos dijeron que a todas las personas les toman huellas y foto al entrar al pais y tambien al momento del ajuste

El status on-line cambió a "Producción de documentos"

Nosotros recibimos el NOA1 en Abril 16 por lo tanto nuestro AOS fue aprobado en un poco menos dos meses!

Muchos éxitos a todos lo que siguen esperando por su aprobación.

hola Isi, muchas gracias por tus palabras. nosotros llegamos primero a Miami y luego a Utah, porq ahi viven mis futuros suegros. creo q nosotros vamos a tener una espera de 4 horas, pero eso he leido, q muchas veces ese proceso en inmigracion se demora y se pierden algunos vuelos...

Si, es horrible la espera!

A mi me toco un muchacho de Pakistan delante de mi y pobre lo tardaron cerca de 2 horas y media, se le veia una cara de desesperacion.

Yo creo que con 4 horas estaras bien, te hacen unas cuantas preguntas de rutina acerca de tu relacion, te toman huellas, una foto, ponen en tu pasaporte la forma I-94 ... en mi caso escribieron mi A# y un numero que venia en mi primer NOA.

Que bueno que por fin ya terminaste una etapa!

Si tienes alguna escala antes de llegar a tu destino final deja un par de horas entre vuelo y vuelo para que no tengas problemas en migracion.

Cuando yo llegue me tardaron 3 horas y media, no en mi revision sino en la espera de la gente que estaba adelante de mi, afortunadamente mi vuelo se retraso y no lo perdi. Por cierto mi primer punto en este pais fue el aeropuerto de Dallas Fort Worth.

Me lei todo este foro para saber que me esperaba y aunque no soy de Colombia todos han sido muy amables conmigo y todas mis dudan han sido aclaradas.

Como te diste cuenta que no te harian entrevista? Pregunto por lo que comento Moonlight que no necesariamente todos los casos transferidos a California estan libres de una entrevista.

Te avisaron o algo asi? O lo fuiste revisando en la pagina de USCIS?

Se me olvido hacer un pequeño comentario y es que mi AP fue aprovado el

24 de Mayo y me lo entregaron ayer en las horas de la tarde.

Siempre se demoro al llegar a mi casa después que lo tramitaron.

Parece que en el Service Center de California se estan tomando su tiempo verdad??

Por lo que veo mucha gente que no fue transferida a California y fue entrevistada les estan llegando sus documentos mucho antes ... paciencia, paciencia y mas ahora que hoy me entere que mi caso fue transferido a California ... paciencia, paciencia ... ok ya se me acabo

AH, you are adjusting from a K-1 visa. I got excited there for a sec.

Some K-1's don't have to do an interview; their file gets transferred to CSC and eventually a green card just gets issued sans interview. Congratulations! Check in the other forum, though, I seem to remember hearing that CSC had slowed down and this didn't necessarily help with the overall timelines for the AOS process...

Yes, I certainly will. It is ridiculous since I did offer the 2009 taxes more than once, last time while being in the office days before they sent my application. Have to check and see if they already cashed my last check and if not, I will see if I can cancel it for now until I know more.

I think this is good. Isn't this what happens when they skip the interview?

On June 2, 2010, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made.

I just did mine today, the lady just commented on the fact that she needed to see my ears.

WHAT???!!!

I have long and a little curly hair and with that crazy humid weather looked like lion and the lady didn't say anything about my ears, actually she took like 3 pics and asked me to chose the one I liked the most!

My biometrics is tomorrow... I'll keep you posted on how that went! Question: should I wear my hair up or down, or does it matter?

I've heard that in some places they ask for the marriage license also, keep that in mind just in case ...
