I was thinking about our little group here while I was pulling the cylinder head off my motor today , and Nan called me to see what I was up to, and it was hard for me to explain to here over the phone, what exactly I was doing... She knows the truck is broken, but thats about it. And I wondered how everyone else here communicates with their SO... in terms of language that is... Nan and I use about a 60/40 split of English/Thai respectively, with me learning more Thai and Nan learning more english over time .

I know we have Ken with your SO from columbia. Are you fluent in spanish?

Hello Nill! We are one day behind ya on our NOA (April 22) , my SO speaks English fluently...and is self taught!

Just saw a second non-expediated March NOA approval on Igors list....yes! Maybe we will see the first April NOA's in July?

I just registered with USCIS and saw I got touched on May 11th...woooo hoooo..I guess?

only 11 poeple on VJ, you didn't consider the rest of the people in the US that filed....

true, but using the data of the other months of this year of VJ reporters...that is a big drop off

Have our NOA1 date of April 22 2009. I am really hoping to have my love here by October...but hopefully at least by Christmas. Gotta say the next 6-8 months are going to kill me!

I guess we're the first of the March 2009 filers, filing from Illinois to the California Service Center.

Based on the valuable information shared here, we're hoping that the 7-month time frame holds up so that we can have an October wedding.

Now the first stage of waiting begins......
