  1. But on the I130 petition form we stated we intended to go down the K3 route

Yes, and initially, so did my petition. They are still technically "seperate" applications. Per the law, the I129F is only available while the I130 is still pending.

I just saw some posts going back and forth about Police Reports... In Canada is this something that is required pre-interview or something we'll need to include with the IV Application?

  2. I'm so excited guys and gals to see everyone moving through this process. Seems like every day I get to see new people coming in, people getting their NVC number, just flying through this. Those of you waiting on a number, it will get there soon - no worries! We're all in this together. All of you are just great - and the fact that we've got people who are further on providing feedback and giving advice makes it all the more valuable.

  3. OK so the Choice of Agent is in their inbox, AOS Bill is paid. I've got the I-865 Package ready to rock soon as they send me a note saying they need it. Reason I haven't sent it yet is the 3 warnings on their page not to do anything unless authorized. Did anyone here do it electronically? The scan I did with the whole shebang was about 29mb (gmail will only allow 25). I was thinking of breaking it into a few pieces just to be safe. I figure there are a few of you out there dealing with the MTL embassy and could possibly have experience. Also about how long does it take from PAID to them sending the details for AOS Processing?

29 MB for I-864 package?? Wow..what did you have in there??!! I havent scanned mine yet (I am doing electronic processing as well) so I am not sure about this. Can you ask NVC? When I tried to call, the rep didnt know what to do if the attachment is too big. Maybe you can try again.

Just to confirm for my own sake, you sent the DS3032 to NVCMontreal@state.gov, right?

Definitely sent to that email address. As for the I-864 I had: Cover Letter, I-864 (was about 8 pages), Tax Transcripts from 2006-2008, and Letter of Employment.

I will re-try this with a different level of quality. My scanner is one of those multi-function printers and the software included is kind of dodgy at best.

  5. I haven't gotten an interview yet. The average wait time right now from case completion to interview is 90-100 days.

Depends on the country I guess, for most people it's rather 1.5 months on average judging by the signatures/timelines.

I meant to clarify that my post was for Canada only. :)

Just out of curiosity, how many lines did you need to indicate your recent visits to the US when you filled out the DS-230? I see you're not too far away from the border (do you cross often?), and my wife goes across the border all the time for shopping and such. Even has a NEXUS pass.

  6. that interviewed in MOntreal... were there lots of interviews? Lots of windows? How long did it take? yeah, yeah, those of us waiting must drive the rest of you bonkers...

SOrry... just biding my time. EVery damn day feels like it's a week long. BUT, I am going to go visit my husband this long weekend and i have about 89lbs of ties to Canada with me.

Bear with me a little longer folks...

    best,

    Deanna

If you have time on your hands :clock: I posted a review of our May Montreal experience in my timeline! Happy reading. :reading:

I'm a long ways off... but will I be able to join the wife in Montreal for the interview (as in enter the embassy with her)? I don't see much info indicating that one way or the other.

  7. Just got a letter today from Dept. of State, NVC, that they received our case and it would be sent to the embassy in about a week. I am out of town working and so I had my sister read the letter to me, so I can't post what the letter said verbatim, but does that sound right? About a week? Wow, That's great if it is the case. Thanks for the offered help and best wishes for everybody on their own journeys.

Seems unlikely that you'd go from NOA2 at USCIS directly to the embassy... not that I wouldn't mind having that problem ;)

From what I remember about her profile, she's filing a K1, which is how that happens. :P

    Apparently I can't read. Disregard!

  10. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!! I woke up, go to my email, and i saw an email saying that my case is APPROVED!!!!!!

On Igor's list up to yesterday, i was ranked 91, and couldn't believe that we just got approved. I'm actually counting the days since i sent the I-130, and they approved it in 71 days.

I'm not the most verbal in this June filer forums but i do read everyone's replies and messages here. Goodness gracious, i'm in shock!!! I hope you guys will get yours soon too.

Isn't that just the most glorious feeling??? We were @ #84 when approved. It was such a shock!

Congratulations! I guess we'll all be together in a September NVC thread.

Is there already a thread for this? Also I've called the NVC a few times, not showing my case as received yet...

  11. Hi everyone,, so nice to hear all the approvals on june filers...

we just checked our email and we got second touched today........

hopefully will have our NOA2 by next month..

    Hi Mr&MrsWrest,

I know its good to see approvals from the same timeline! Same with you, we got touched last week and that was the first time! Goodluck to your journey and hopefully me and your wife will be in US byt thanksgiving or Christmas.

Anyone receive a hardcopy version of their NOA2? Mine was sent 8/21 and I haven't seen anything in the mailbox yet...

I did not recieve it yet. NOA1 took 3 days from the time it was sent so I believe I'll get it Monday.

Just got the Hardcopy this afternoon in my mailbox. Good stuff.

  13. thanks alot , i m sure u all will get ur NOA2 soon and we all will be together in NVC

best of luck to all june filers

Amen to that. As for the timing, it really does not seem to have much of a rhyme or reason far as order goes but Igor's list does appear to indicate that they get done in roughly an average amount of time.

Thanks for all of the well wishes! Still more fun to come, however.

  14. its sad to see igor list in last two days not a single approval was updated come on uscis

It might just be due to a lack of updating - lots of people on vacation right now! Don't know about you folks but I've started getting some of the stuff I need together for the Affadavit of Support... (Just ordered Tax Transcripts). Getting pumped for an approval in the next month and change.

  15. How will you find out about the Igor's list? Where can i see that? No touch here as well, we had our NOA2 on the 2nd week of June..:crying:

Sorry! I meant NOA1! Just sleepy from work.

    http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthl...=2&sortby=2

you can sort it how you want. i sorted by CSC and Unapproved petitions

Thanks a lot Kaushalia! Appreciate it a lot!

Just now discovered how to use that list... 108 baby! Also no touches.
