thank God its been approved finally by the uscis.

i opened my mail box and it was there :dance:

didn't get any text , there is still no update on the website but i have it in my hands right now :dance:

decision date is 03/13/2012

will be gettin the card in the mail within next 60days (hopefully before that)

thank you so much to every one here for the support its been a long journey but at the end of the day when i have it i don't feel like it took that long.

well guys i think its time for me to do something i guess.

i'm not panic but the thing is this f*****g wait game is like never ending.

i had my biometrics on 29th june of last year and ever since then have heard nothing from these a******s (uscis).

everybody else is getting approval letters but i'm yet to do so.

i don't know what the f/*k is wrong with my case everytime i deal with uscis.

k1 = 2 years ( which usually takes less than 6months)

aos= 1 year (normally done in 4 to 6months)

now this I751 is taking too much time. i'm sick of this #######.

anyhow i just need some suggestion here.

should i call them up and ask for a service request since its almost 10months now.

and if so, i once read i need to talk to level 2 officer something like that right ?

well please suggest ?

well did'nt get any thing from VSC even after 8 months but checked my mail, got an envelope from GOD on 15th feb, opened it and yay its my son

atleast he's a citizen by birth doesn't have to worry about anything to deal with f*****g uscis.

I have the same Date of I-751, same date of NOA Date and unbelievably same Biometrics date (early bio) but I'm yet to be approved

probably some racism goin on in VSC :lol:

I'm saying so coz same happened to me through my K1 and AOS :crying:

K1 took almost two years from start to POE and AOS a year.

2 years and 9 months since your first (conditional) GC assuming that you've been living with your spouse all this time.

I guess you're the only one who knows about it cuz everybody else is just confused.

Folks 3 years means 2 years 9 months cuz 3 months they give you to apply for to get ready for, its a window in which you could apply like we did when we applied for ROC.

You can apply for citizenship after 2 years and 9 months after receiving your conditional GC regardless of whether your ROC is still in process.

Hi.

I hope all of us get the approval very soon..

But from what i know that we cant apply for citizenship unless we have our 10 years green cards or an approval letter at least..

I guess you are wrong cuz I have been through some threads and all'em stated that even If you don't get your 10years green card you could still file for the citizenship if you are in the correct time frame.

I'm not very much sure about this but the logic is there cuz you could go for I751 if you are still married to the same us citizen after 1 year and 9 months and for citizenship is the same case but after 2 years and 9 months.

Anyhow I'll do some research on it and the get back to this.

hi guyz !!

i'm posting here after a long time but i have been watchin closely that whats goin on.

well i'm a vsc filer and i filled it on 1st june but have not seen anything since bio which i took on 29th june.

i know its more than 6 months but i'm not gonna go for a service request cuz i know its gonna take atleast 2,3 more months

and thing why i'm relaxed is my aos was approved after a long wait ( almost a year ) and secondly even if i don't get the 10 years card i can still file for the citizenship in next june.

so fingers crossed.

to vsc filers friends just hang in there cuz sooner or later we'll hear some good news.

Hi,

guys I have a question .. other day my friend was telling me about one of his friend's case, who is a cab driver in new york city.

He was saying, that cab driver had I-751 pending and he got a criminal court ticket while driving the cab. Then after some time he recieved letter from uscis stating that his I-751 can not be approved because he has a criminal record.

My question is ... Is this possible ?

I mean getting a traffic ticket of a criminal court is not a big offense.

Anyhow does anybody know anything about this ?

I friend of mine is school bus driver in new york and once he told me that he sees so many stupid people passing by him when his red flashng lights are on, specially in Manhattan.

If cops are there you are done otherwise consider yourself extremely fortunate cuz its a bad bad traffic violation.

Luckily in your case its a traffic violation which has nothing to do with ROC or Citizenship Process.
