We are planning to be married in the Philippines . I know that I need to get the Affidavit In Lieu of Certificate of Legal Capacity to Marry . What else do we need to be able to do this ? My fiancee was married before on the K1 visa and is now divorced . She left on her own accord and went back to the Philippines in Nov 2012 . She does not have a copy of her final judgement . Will this effect us in any way ? The marriage was never reported in the Philippines , so her cenomar will show certificate of no marriage . Once we file for the CR-1 I know we will need that judgement for the USCIS and US embassy concerns . I am planning to bring my final judgement of divorce , passport , and birth certificate . Anything else needed ? Also we are trying to get her judgement before we marry just in case .

as i understand u both can married in the philippines, but when it comes to removal of condition soon, i am sure she had a record in the USA that she been married before, so, u need a final divorce decree .

I believe so, because you want him to exit the Philippines on his Philippines passport to avoid paying the penalties for exiting on the US passport related to having overstayed, or not having had a Philippines Visa in the US passport (even though the child never "entered" the Philippines. When the child gets to the US he/she will enter on their US Passport.

huh? she said they are moving from philippines to USA right? I don't think she needs an exit clearance. I think that exit clearance are for OFW who work abroad for employment purposes . All they need is once they already here in the USA PORT OF ENTRY at the airport they will go to immigration center, just showed their both passport. as i understand..

I was 7 months pregnant when i came here in the USA, During my medical at st luke i was 6 months pregnant, you are a priority, easy in the line etc. in the vaccine they will not give u anything. Fast and easy that was year 2009

got my case complete last week.. docs in general are taking about three weeks to review give or take.

there was a post a few days ago talking about interview appointments and the lack of availability thereof from a few days ago in the Philippine forum.. take a look through the forum for it

waiting for the case complete AOS and IV already submit at NVC end of the month of AUG.

any idea ? what is the possible month of interview?

while waiting for the case complete, I let my mom to have a advance medical at st luke next week.

I call the NVC she said if you submit the IV form " OLD" and you see at your portal " NEW FORM" it won't hurt you at all if just fill up

the form then submit.. So even i already submit the OLD FORM for IV, i still fill up the new form.

I already submit the Ds-230 form with civil documents, when i sign in at the portal payment the ds-260 is available to fill up

so i just fill up and submit it electronic

my father have a visa interview my mom still sputum test for 3 days do u think it is ok that my father will do a visa interview even though my mom reschedulle his interview because eof the sputum exam... how long it will take that we will know the result of sputum test.. mostly how long did the u.s visa expired.... i ever u cannot passed the interview do u think we can still reschedulle our interview..

sputum test 2 months , and its positive need a treatment for 6 months, for your father he can proceed to his interview , the visa is valid for 6 months i think.

don't worry your father will passed the interview.. I never heard someone failed in the interview.. the question are more personal

I checked my portal payment for IV BILL is says PAID already

now my question is do i need to fill up the online ds-260 electronic?

I think we don't need to submit the online form, we are almost same timeline . waiting for the case complete.

we need to wait to reviewed. I call to day waiting time is 20 days. hope it will be case complete by SEPT 16 or 20.
