I am glad. One thing about Mumbai is there very efficient once they have the paperwork in the hands. The wedding planning I have had everything set, but now have to go back to the drawing board and call the vendors and find another date. As its official now he will be coming and no more visa delays. I got an email from the consulate stating that he will recieve his visa via courier soon. I think this is it

I got word from NVC that they finished the processing and our case should be arriving at the consulate soon. Hopefully, this is the last step and he should hear from teh consulate to issue the visa. Yay!!!!!1

Congrats on the whole process. It seems like you are almost done. I just found out that NVC sent my petition to the consulate. So, that means they are done with the AP, and he should be hearing from the consulate soon. Cross your fingers!

Congrats on the interview date! You are going to pass it with flying colors. You are very well prepared from the evidenced you have. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Just start packing and get ready to move

Yes they can accept the father as a co-sponser. Someone also from Mumbai did this and they accepted it. Also, a family friends of our had the same situation, and Mumbai still approved his visa. As long as your cosponser meets the poverty guidelines you should be ok. Mumbai is not as bad as Delhi.
