  5. from the time my I-130 and I-129 petition was approved , it took about 3 weeks before I got a letter from the USEM thru DHL , informing me that i am now qualified to make an appointment for interview and medical exams at St.Lukes .

  8. finally, I am going to be with my hubby on saturday , it has been quite a journey , for almost a year ! the long wait will soon be over , in few hours i will be flying to my dearest , to all fellow vjers thank you so much , for you have been very helpful , to the members of the staff of VJ , thank you so, so much for this site have been very helpful ;

to those still in the process , good luck .

God bless to all , I am signing off for now .

  9. hey rockhouse chillax , i tried tracking my visa at air21 website and experienced the same for days , even called them over the phone same thing , anyways, fiancee will receive a text from them stating that they have already docs from USEM and expect the delivery next day , so cool man .

  10. hello guys , I had my cfo done at St. Mary's in Quezon City , it is located along aurora Blvd, opposite PSBA (Phil. School of Business Administration , it is beside the Katipunan MRT station ; I just went there without to book in advance , the seminar took about 2 hours , from registration , seminar , issuance of sticker and certificate of attendance ; another landmark at St. Mary's is the Sta. Clara Monastery along Katipinan Ave. I went there after seminar and offered eggs , for thanksgiving .

  11. i have a copy of a blank DS157 which i downloaded from the website plus another one from BDO when I paid for visa application bcoz USEM needs 2 copies, the one from BDO has machine validation at the back , the one that I downloaded donot , both submitted to USEM.

    good luck on your interview.

  12. Your next step is to wait for the passport and visa to be delived by Air21.

After you receive that, go to:

    COMMISSION ON FILIPINOS OVERSEAS

ST. MARY EUPHRASIA FOUNDATION. INC.-CENTER FOR OVERSEAS WORKERS

good shephers convent, 1043 AURORA BLVD, 1108 QUEZON CITY

So you can get the CFO stamp and sticker. If you have an office closer to where your SO lives you can use that one. Shirr an I went to the Quezon City office cause it was close.

Both are required before you can exit the Philippines.

    -Phil

My fiancee took her interview on the first of september, and passed in only a few minutes.

But.... what do we do from here?

We're already in search of flights from the Philippines... but what is the deal with the seminar? Is it necessary? Any preperation for it? Anything else we should be aware of?

    Thanks!

   congrats, have a safe trip.

  13. hello uniquecouple, you said you are done on your first day , but medical exams takes 2 days , second day would be immunization assuming you dont have problems with results of first day and I think Tuesday is going to be a busy day coming from a long weekend , i would suggest you stay in Manila for the night and leave the next day

  14. excuse me, but the purpose of the "red ribbon " is for authenticity as the word implies ; it means that your credentials are authentic , it did not come from C.M. Recto , as you can get it easily for a fee , if you know what I mean?

it would mean more work to be done but then , it is better to be sure .
