    Just happened to be passing by VJ. Yes, Nigeria will do home/village visits. They usually do it if there seems to be something off about the application or documents submitted. Nigeria is so high fraud that even legit documents are hard to validate. If the couple is on the up and up then it should work out. Back when I was going through the process there was a couple that had a home visit and it turns out the person introduced as his cousin was really a wife. I guess the end game was he was going to get to the US via a marriage, dump the USC and then petition wife from Africa. Gotta love some of the schemes people come up with.
