  1. Help vjErs,

we need help. This is not for us as my wife has her citizenship already. My wife has a friend in Florida and her work visa will expire soon is there a way that person can stay on that work visa. Is there a way we can help her. Please let me know. Thanks everyone!!

Don't pay too much attention to processing times. It will take as long as it takes. The processing times are just averages. If you look at individual timelines here you will find people who filed on the same day and who are at the same service center for the same visa category had their petitions approved days, weeks, even months apart. I befriended someone online through a forum like this who had the same priority date as us for the I-130 at Nebraska for a CR-1. They were approved three weeks before we were.

wow...that's crazy. thank you for your support

maybe is a good idea to bring them to the ceremony. because at least we can have a little fun. this process is hard enough and so serious from begging to end that !!!!

I gain so many white hair! I look 150 now...I apply for the 3 years rule but I have 5 years of marriage already...with this trend of waiting we will be retired and living in an assisting home. LOL

I was seeing the updates on others months. in my USCIS letters keep repiting I will be done on February 2020 ..seems a little disappointed  because I see cases on September they are already citizens.

Mmmmmm always in this waiting room!

I cant wait to see the end of the tunnel. I bet everyone feels the same way.

Yes hopefully soon. We are in Chicago and the end of tunnel says November 2019. But I’m hoping for March 2019. Keep the faith.

Hello fellow August N400 filers, I'm just wondering if there's anyone outhere with San Jose,Ca field office that recently got their interview notice it's been over 3 months since I did biometrics and I haven't heard anything since all I get is e-mails saying we are still processing your case and there are no updates at this time, I've received like 6 of those useless emails in the last 3 months I feel like they are just playing with my feelings with those nonsense emails🤔,thanks everyone any feedback will be greatly appreciated 🤗

Hello there, I’m not in San Jose, but I’m out of Chicago and I filed August 26th and I have gotten those darn no update emails for about 7 or 8 time. It sucks. Mine I’m looking at 11 more months. They love playing with us. Good luck hopefully soon. Anyone from Chicago field office get interview or in line. Inquiring minds want to know lol.

Yep perfectly normal. Just their way of saying we are still processing so don’t panic and call us for an update.

I’m out of Dallas and I keep seeing these every two weeks or so. This will go on for a year or two.

    so hang tight 😊

Oh no I hope sooner that 2 years. It said 12 months but I should see a interview by March I hope.

I filed in August and wasn’t expecting to hear anything this quickly but my interview is November 26th. Problem is I’m going to the Dominican Republic on December 10th - 15th. I’ll mention this to the interviewer but generally I should expect my ceremony to be after that shouldn’t I? Also if I magically had my ceremony before my vacation, can I take my certificate to prove my citizenship going through immigration since I won’t have an American passport that quick.

Congrats what was your service center location?
