My fiancee lives in calgary and she went to a police station and got a police cert thing, but i have read that it needs to come from the rcmp ? Is that true or will the police cert do just fine ?

they dont even have to let you in the country if its only been a month. Its at the discrection of the boarder patrol agent.

you do not have to file one of those if your the American Citizen to my knowledge. I dont know why i put touche? ha

Lets say that i changed my address because i moved, would that cause a touche on my case? I just checked mine and it said it was touched on 8/25 or is that because they actually pulled my file and is irrelavant to my address change.

she didnt receive an I-94 card or secondary questioning, just the boarder patrol agent asked her how long she would be here.

I live in atlanta and my fiancee just cam over about a week and a half ago. She had zero troubles with the boarder patrol agent. She had two work letters, bank statements, NOA1, and k1 packet. She didn't have to pull anything out. Just saying your going on a vacation and visiting friends.

My fiancee is currently visiting she told the border patrol guy she would be back in three weeks Septemer 5th, would it be terrible if she stayed till monday and left monday ?

Ya i have a copy of original packet and so does she. I called and it just said my NOA1 was sent out. So it is still being processed thanks for everything guys!

No i meant for proof of ties to country when she comes to visit xD. The letter stating she is employed and plans to return to work on these days. She does contracting work for a small home builder, company of like 10 so they dont have an HR department.

Letter of employment my fiancee employer wants her to type it up and he said he would stamp and sign, but I dont even know where to start any guides on this, Mucho help appreciated.

To my knowledge if you make under 5000 in a total year you do not have to file taxes.

I understand she is going to need documents proving ties. I plan on sending her out NOA1 and an entire copy of our application i sent in. She works as a contractor for a housing company. Her boss said he would write her a letter and use his company stamp and sign the document saying she works for him. Will that be sufficient?

I also told her to bring cell phone bills in her name

Credit card bills in her name

and bank statements showing she has money in canada ?

What else any suggestions ?

Its really not your place to judge the situation in the first place. So if your not going to add anything to a thread you probably should not post. But, like everyone said they have to leave before the 90 days and the 90 day stipulation is a trial pretty much to see if you love each other.

I already did that , im just excited about getting something in the mail to prove its not a dream
