received a letter saying my case has been transfered to the csc! that was on the 19th and then I received a touch today the 22nd . Hopefully thats a good thing.

typically it means you do not get an interview, but it if there is something weird with your package than it could get re transfered over to your service center. Its typically a good thing

you need to get you vacinations transcribed to an I-693. a lot of people are getting RFE for not sending in the I-693. I would send a photocopy with an I-693 originals are a no no to send unless the specifically ask for an original.

I sent my adjustment of status 10 days ago Feb 20 and it arrived the 22nd at 6 am. How long does it normally take from then to have the check cashed and or NOA1

Does your wife have her passport in her maiden name, and then took your name in marriage?

I have wondered if such a situation gives the woman difficulties with customs checkpoints during international travel.

She did take my name, but im pretty sure all you do is take your marriage certificate with you to prove the name change.

My buddy came across the boarder in a car with his parents. They took his passport and gave it back, but he has no stamps or anything. What type of visa is he on and how long can he stay ?

They will keep her old passport though and that contains all her K-1 Visa stuff/i-94 card and entry stamps... Will that be a problem if they send an RFE or something like that ?

We filed out adjustment of status a couple of days ago and are waiting like everyone else. We noticed my wife's passport expires in June. We cant travel, because we do not have advance parole, but what should we do. Wait for Green Card in hand to renew it or can we renew it now ?

well usually you ask for delivery confirmation when you send the packet and it is updated through the carrier's website you chose. I think they only send a confirm when it is completed and accepted, but i could be wrong.

I read the forms and guides... Im sending this out today and just making sure everything is in order. When it says send it to the address on the form, which form is it talking about because my form does not have the Chicago lockbox address on it.

Quick question, in total how many passport pictures are supposed to be sent out with the packet. I know two for the G325a, but are there any more that need to be sent out.

My wife and i are adjusting her status from a K1 Visa.

My wife and I married November 27th, and she received her visa November 19th. We are filing her adjustment of status papers now, but what is her status once the 90 days ends for the K-1 Visa. Her I-94 card says until Feb18th, 2010. If we file before than are we safe until the green card comes or do we have to get an extension on her I-94 card ?

I know the obvious like no working and not to leave the country before AP/Work Authorization/Green Card

transcribing the medical was $50 dollars they did it in about 15 minutes, they were extremely friendly. I believe a full medical is $350 dollars everywhere.
