  1. Yup, mine's in the fridge.

I'm kind of surprised they let people walk away with that pointy thing, but I think they know most of us dont want to do it ourselves.

Be prepared to spend almost 170 to 180 depending on where you go.

Try walmart if you can before anyone if you have to just straight out buy it without insurance.

There's a pointy thing sitting in my fridge right now?

I was too scared to look in the Rx bag, haha.

Yeah, I opened the box and inside a plastic case there's the syringe and the needle has to be attached to it by the doctor.

There isnt much liquid either, which is nice.

okay but i tought medisys could do it... im so confuse and i dont really have time to go see my doc about it cause anyway she dont do vaccine...

im sure i can pay extra $ to have it done at medisys... i dont really care for the price if its less than 40$ to save...

  2. I just want to know if anyone has entered the US after mailing the packet 3 to the Montreal consulate. I intend to visit my fiance for Christmas I would like to know the experience of others at the POE. What kind of questions were tossed and how did you answer them ?

Any answers would be highly appreciated.

  3. its weird i should be with you guys *sigh* looks like a lot pass in front of me in the process im wondering why i didint got an interview date ...

who else is waiting theirs from September ?

  4. I remember a while back someone in monreal posted that the address below is where they went:

    Montréal

    200 Rene-Levesque Blvd

    Complex Guy-Favreau,

    Level 00 - Unit 12-A

    Montréal, Québec H2Z IX4

    Phone: (514) 285-2246

think it cost 40$ but was done very fast. and it was exactly what was needed. if i recall correct they just walked in and asked for it to be done.

That's one of the ones that I posted but let's see what the OP has before we do anything.

Yes i called them and told what my paper was they said it was just a regular criminal folder they check at my local police ..

so i am gonna go it take 48 hours... they dont mail it back i will need to go pick it up after..

so i was wondering if i bring them an express post if they would mail it to me ..hum oh well if i gotta go back i will..just the metro and bus that annoy me and of course the snow is almost here

  5. im trying to find news on this... still nothing on the CDC webpage..

All they did was vote to recommend Cervarix for 11 and 12 year olds and endorse the use of Gardasil in boys 9 to 26 (but did not recommend it). http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/booster_sh...il-in-boys.html

As it stands now, the HPV vaccine is still required for immigrants. What we're really waiting on is to see if this proposal is ever adopted: http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dq/laws_regs/fed...dex_vaccine.htm

####### i tought they were voting on that !!! what will happen then with that thing it really depress me to see we will not have change on that are you sure they didint vote on that ?

  6. Oh man I had no idea montreal was THAT confusing !!! i lived there most of my child hood too .. seems so silly to just get a certificate shesh..

ok so i called at st jerome and they said they dont service non resident .... and the guy *was nice* told me to check the yellowpages under fingerprints and there is people in montreal doing them and giving me a *certificat de bonne conduite* ... hope thats what i need... they work togheter with the GRC =RCMP

I would scan and post it here first. That way you can know for certain if you need to get anything more. Why waste your money if you don't have to?

This is what I found on the RCMP/GRC website:

How can I obtain a Canadian police certificate (record check by name and date of birth only, not fingerprint based)?

In the Montréal area, please contact your local police service or any private company offering this service in your area. These firms can be located in local yellow pages and internet searches using the term "'police clearance", "police check" or "fingerprinting services canada".

In the Québec City area, please contact the Canadian Corps of Commissioners located at 3405 Wilfrid Hamel Blvd., Suite 330, Québec City, Quebec G1P 2J3, Tel.: 418 681-0609, ext. 0. You may also contact your local police service.

Quebec residents living outside the Montréal and Québec City area may go to the nearest RCMP office. Please phone before going to a detachment because an appointment may be required. You may also contact your local police service.

If you are currently outside Canada, you must submit fingerprints to conduct a certified criminal record check. You must be present in Canada in order to obtain a name-based check.

    Additionnal Information

    • Contact your nearest RCMP office or your local police service.

  8. #### i called the RCMP and got a douche bag

they kept telling me that no matter where i call in montreal i would need to send ontario 25$ and it would take up to 3 months before i get it..

but i was fighting with the person to try to make him understand i didint need the big certificate only the normal police certificate god im so mad

im tirred of this ###### they always send you to this number than this number than all what i got was *i dont know * we cant tell you blah blah blah

then i got an answer 3month ago when i was actually looking for it that there was one in St jerome that do it so im back on trying to find that grrr

  9. Don't compare what you have to what others have. I had mine done by the city police, and other than it saying a Canada wide name check was completed, it's not on any type of form. Just two sentences on City police letterhead. As someone earlier mentioned, take it to the police station and just verify that this will suffice. No fingerprinting is done unless you have a record. Look for working that says Canada Wide or CPIC.

none of it ...damn it suck why whould they be so ###### retard to give me something like that...

sigh ok im getting on the phone trying to reach something

  10. wow okay that dosent sound like that at all.. geez...

now im worried cause i cant find any good place at all.. i think there is a place in *st-jerome* but i tought i had to do it in a town i been living for more than 6 months..

plus fingerprints ? i dont have that on my paper so im glad i know i need to get one again... thx your explanation was great...

gonna try to find one ...

in french i think the rmcp is called the GRC

    I live in Laval

  11. mine is in french i asked them an english copy and they gave me an paper that tell what the french paper mean..

its called Verification of existence justice folder

then they sign it and ther is nothing on it cause i never commit anything against the law

  12. okay im unsure... why did the police gave me a paper with nothing on it..and i didn't pay for it..

i hear people saying they had to pay for that...

can someone show me what it look like ?
