  1. Thank You, Inky.

We do have bunch of pictures and I'm planning to be there for her interview.

But now I have an airplane ticket booked for December 20th.... just hoping it happens somewhere around there...haha But if not, I'll have to adjust :P

As for the church, I understand about that 90 days rule. I'm asking at Interview stage, does it matter if it shows June 12, 2010 and the interview is done in December? Just wondering if the interviewer would ask if we're going to get married sooner and how come there's no change in reservation. Just a thought.... I know she can answer with she's not going to come to the US until around May 2010 since it's within 6 months of Visa approval.

  2. Hi, everyone.

Just got overly excited for NOA2 that I just received :)

Not sure if anyone post this or not .

Regarding the proof of on going relationship, does the evidence have to come from the beneficiary's side?

So far, we have Skype chat log (from my end with screenshot ), Skype phone log (from my end), Phone bill with text message from my end, Email (from my mailbox snapshot with samples about 3-4 from each month ).

I know my fiancee has made phone call also using her landline , but the landline is not under her name.

Should I take screenshot of her mailbox, skype too?

Also, another question....Assuming that we got the interview in December.

We have an arrangement with local church here to hold the wedding ceremony on June 12, 2010. (Have the reservation receipt)

Do I need to make adjustment and get another receipt from church if we want to get married earlier than that? Assuming the point of Entry is also somewhere in December 2009? Because we want to get married as soon as possible after point of entry.

Thank you for reading this post, everyone

  3. Woohhoooooooo......Got approved !

  4. Hello,

    Though it could be useful.

I asked this question to Jakarta Embassy ,not that long time ago.

    Mr. Ongko,

Unfortunately all panel physicians are located in Jakarta. Applicant must have the medical examination done by the appointed panel physician.

We won’t require sworn translations. Any accurate translation by a person competent in both languages is sufficient. If someone’s personal translation is not good enough, we’ll require another one.

    Subject: Question

    Hello,

I have some questions regarding K1 requirements

    1. Do you have a list of approved doctors for K1 medical exam in city of Surabaya? Or this can only be done in Jakarta?

    2. Also , if documents that need to be translated to English, can we go to any Translator to get it translated? Or it has to be from a certified place? If i may also have a list of these translators for city of Surabaya (if possible) & Jakarta.

    Thank You,

  5. Hello, everyone.

I have a question regarding joint bank account. (Not using this as evidence )

As I've read that showing joint bank account/transferring money could do harm to K1 Application, here's my situation:

I (US citizen) opened a joint bank account in Indonesia with my fiancee, and put only $50 for opening balance (As of now). The reason I opened this bank account is to help her with immigration fee such as medical exam, plane tickets to Embassy, and other visa fees.

    1. Is there any way for the embassy to find out about this?

    2. If the Interviewer ask if we have a joint account , should she answer it honestly?

    3. Will it be safe (record wise) to transfer money from the US to that account or should I just give her cash and let her deposit it?

Also, not far off from bank account topic,

My bank account (in the US) receives cash deposit every month because my roommate pays me with cash for his rent, then we just issued 1 personal check (using mine) to the landlord. Will this be a problem when they look into my income documentation? Maybe taking it as unreported income?

    Thank you,
