I am sure if you pass your interview you will get a Oath Ceremony date before Sept. So no need to expidite
You think so? That's what I'm hoping!
Thanks for the info tho guys...

My Interview is coming up in July 02, and I heard there will be 2 Oath Ceremonies in my local office June 25 and 29....
I was wanting to ask them, since I will miss those, when the next ones will be since I wanted to complete by Sept 4th for a upcoming trip... I was even gonna ask if I can do an early interview to make it to those ceremonies, but I'm guessing they will always say no to that, has any1 been successful in getting an early interview?

I agree with what you are saying KroMix .. but then why would the processing times on the USCIS website indicate a different story ... it's just a mystery to me.
Well its probably for the very same reason my online status says "your N-400 application has been received, please wait until further notice" since day one, and I am at the Interview step......
In other words, they don't update ####### online and if they do, its wrong. It's like the Internet Updating Dept. @ USCIS is a Monkey who does things on a whim.
They don't even have my field office on there, MIAMI has 3 or 4 new field offices , none show up online for status of processing times, it still only shows the original MIAMI DO ....
USCIS + Online Updates = FAIL

A Ft. Laudy ... Welcome and Good Luck and a speedy process!! Miami has been fast lately, hopefully you'll have the same luck!!
-
Have the N 400 processing times slowed down at most centers. A month ago most centers showed the processing times as " 5 Months " or " 6 Months" . Now when I look at them it says " October 2008" or similar dates for most centers. Is there any reason why this is so ... or is it just that USCIS is overwhelmed with N 400 applications ?
I thought it was speeding up, if you look and compare trends of the Filers by month it seems faster ?

My thoughts exactly James, pretty big waste of resources/money

Next Oath Ceremony @ West Kendall USCIS is June 25th I found out today.... My interview is July 02 ((((((( Hopefully they do it monthly there, I just asked, waiting for response on the frequency........

Received Yellow Letter on June 3 ....
States:
After a complete review of your file and application for Naturalization this office has found additional documentation may be needed. Along with this notice, please bring the applicable items listed below to your naturalization interview. Must translate document etc etc...
This is a general checklist and since each case is unique, you may be required to produce additional documentation at the time of your interview. If your situation requires further details, you will be notified.
x Bring your state-issued driver's license or state-issued photo identification card.
That was easy. Good for you.
But that was also a waste of paper and stamp, IMO. They should just put a standard reminder on the interview letter to bring these IDs.
Thats what I said.... govt wants to go green but waste trees away lol

My interview is July 2 n I noticed my address on my liscense does not match my address to which I filed, does it matter?
I filed under my moms house, which I lived for 15 years of my life, recently moved out, however I have to move again cause the idiots I moved into are being foreclosed, so I am waiting to move again to update my license... Does it matter or do I need to go and change my license back to my moms house for the time being?

I called USCIS today. I was told they have scheduled my interview for July 15! It is incredible how fast this is going! I had my biometrics appointment just a week ago! I will post when I receive the actual interview letter. Good luck to everyone still waiting!
No IL yet, tpontirolli?
Unfortunately, not yet. The mail does not come until the afternoon. Hopefully it will come today! What about yours?
No letter yet.
Who mails the letter out, anyways? The DO or NBC?

I've heard that they are supposed to give out the test prep packages with an audio CD at biometrics. We never got one. (Never thought to ask about it at the time, either.) We had just downloaded and printed out the package.
Does anyone know how to get a hold of the CD? I'm not sure we can just go back to the field office and ask for it, although you'd think we should be able to. I've looked online, too, but it's not around anywhere.
I got one from the ASC. It looks like they just started giving it out because some people who had their biometrics done already came back to get their CD copy. They showed their stamped Biometrics Letter to the guard to claim it.
Yup, they gave me one at the West Kendall USCIS office on Biometrics day..

Check out what I found, contracts for Naturalization ceremonies for specific cities.. If you open the .PDF, specific dates and sometimes times are listed....

Hey All,
Anyone in Miami have an Oath Ceremony recently or have any information on one? With the new "Green" USCIS Buildings operational (West Kendall, Hialeah, etc..) Do they do Same-Day Oath Ceremonies? If not, do they still do mass Miami ceromonies somewhere? If so, WHERE? I have seen threads about it being done at the Miami Beach Convention Center... Where do they rent out now?
I'm in the West Kendall Field Office and am trying to figure out where my oath ceremony would be, and if they do same-day at that building if possible and/or by request...
Any info is greatly appreciated!
T-Minus 30 Days till my Interview
From what I heard, mass ceremonies are now held at the Miami-Dade County Auditorium on West Flagler on Fridays.
Every Friday?
And is that for every office?

05/19/09 mailed
05/21/09 arrived - LEWISVILLE, TX
That's great, but I think you want the May filers? May filers here
And welcome to the forum!!
Why don't they include all future filings in one post? It'll give a better timeline for analysis, especially since USCIS went to filings at the lockboxes earlier this year.
I end up going to the previous months forums ie MAR, FEB to get a gauge on my own situation.
Just thought I would give my 2 cents worth on this topic
Or maybe it would be better if the threads are based on DOs?
You'd have some quiet threads that way, and people would just look-over it....
