  1. Jewel... I'm sure you'll get TONS of pics you'll absolutely love from your trip, I'm so excited for you! and YES we will be posting our wedding pics early next year and this snail's pace wait will feel like it flew right by, riiiiiiight everyone?? (trying to convince myself)

PDC... thanks for stopping by to say hi! Best of luck to you as well, and we will all certainly share anything and everything we learn, that goes for you too! We VJers need to stick together :)

Lovewaits... I'm doing that Come on September cheer with you! I'd rather even do the COME ON OCTOBER cheer! Even though my birthday is September, I'll gladly skip it this year to go straight to October and a (hopeful) NOA2! I do think you may be our only US-Russian members of this special little group :) unless there are others I don't know about.

GREAT day for Igor's list and moving up today!! Gotta love a day where it moves so much

  2. I'm hoping some of us see something happen in September. Hey rough sweet, what city in the UK are you or your significant other in? I will be in London next Friday, then Edinburgh to see my sweetie on Sunday.

I'm the USC, Jewel. My fiance, Neil, lives in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands.

Have a FABULOUS trip to see your sweetie, make every second count!

  3. YAY! CSC picked back up. It seems almost 25% of May filers on Igor's list have NOA2s... when it gets over 50% then June should start getting approvals.... I'm always so happy when the dates being approved get a lot closer to ours!!

Thanks for that, Jewel. I've been having a really bad few days, with the wait ahead of us feeling really, really long right now. I look at that list of 100 or so May filers and just get a sad little sinking feeling. So you truly did just make my day... thanks :)

  4. I think its odd that no one else has seen the EFT .. but its there on the instructions for the application.. and these instructions have the dates 07/30/07 on them. I am so confused now! Ahhh.

Should I just have him try and find out from the bank who did the EFT (that is, if they can).

Also, I'm pretty sure he would have called the 1-800 number.

You're not the only one who has seen the EFT section of the instructions, PirateStar. New or not, it's definitely there. I was just about to pull it and copy it here when you did.

I think your idea of starting with the bank, to see who authorized the EFT, is the most expedient way to go. Certainly easier than trying to deal with USCIS. And if the bank says "the dept. of homeland security authorized the EFT" than you have proof that they SOMEWHERE have your app.

Good luck! and hang in there.

p.s. oops :) sorry for the messy quote from your post hehe

  5. Hey all,

I've scoured endless posts and FAQs, can't seem to find an answer to this. Could someone who used a co-sponsor for support at the London Embassy please tell me what your co-sponsor answered to questions 10 and 11 on the I-134.

For question 10, I know I'M supposed to write my fiance's name and info because I've submitted an application on his behalf, but does my co-sponsor also fill in his info on her I-134? Even though they're not applying on his behalf? and if so, what does she list as their "relationship"?

For question 11, I know that London prefers the USC to answer "N/A" in response to whether you'll support him. But again, does my co-sponsor also write N/A?

I'd love to hear from someone who got approved through London with a co-sponsor, and get a definitive answer on which responses you used that resulted in an approval?

    So many thanks :) :) :)

  6. Sara,

I have followed your case closely, as I'm sure many here have. I had to write and send you a huge virtual hug. I can only imagine the range of emotions you go through each day, each hour, working your way from despair back to hope every time.

Well, just in case this is one of those moments where you feel you're not going to be able to pick yourself up again...remember that we're all here to offer a hand and help you get back up.

Just wanted to say that. Please hang in there. We will all celebrate with you the day you get approved. and that day WILL come.

  7. Hello, another July CSC filer here. Sent petition last july 16, received noa1 july 20 and now waiting for noa2. Good luck to all.

Welcome and thanks for joining our waiting lounge :) :)

We're all just watching with baited breath and hoping that the CSC doesn't slow down in a long trend, after working so quickly for so long!

*drums fingers on the desk* I'll just be doing this for the next few weeks... doesn't bother anyone, does it?

  8. funny! I am constantly on igors list to see what is going on lol... i just want someone to "touch" the application now :-)

what i dont get in how i'm something like #247 on the list when you applied a couple of days before me?

anyway... keep your chin up people we're getting there!

Hmmm... Not sure about that, seanyb, when I check Igor's list I see you as 286, Jewel as 284 and myself as 264. Am I looking in the wrong place? It's possible, I do tend to confuse myself easily with all of these dates and numbers!

Jewel - it would indeed be sooooooo fun to be in London at the same time!! Either way it'll just be great to go through it with people who understand and are going through the same thing, right down to the same consulate!

hmmm strange... the link i have to it shows me at 247 and jewel at 238?? am i being stupid here and looking at the wrong list? i just googled igors list and the following link came up...

    http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/default.aspx

    is this right?

    damn i much prefer being #247!! :-)

Ohhhhh, that's the problem. you're looking at the Berkeley list and I'm looking at the one here on VJ, under Immigration Timelines.

By all means, go with the one with the better number! My fiance always reminds me, when I become obsessed with our Igor number, that it only reflects the people who fill in timelines. But it still makes me feel better!

  10. GOOD NEWS!!! We all move up several spots on Igor's VisaJourney List in just a few hours!!! The projected processing times also went forward a few days! Most of us are now a week or more into the wait. Good luck everyone!

Thanks for the good news reminder, Jewel! We could all use every bit of it we can get to make the separation easier. Hopefully things will continue to move quickly and problem free for all of us!
