Lampros' "interview" was on Friday. It went smoothly and quickly... though we had to drive 2 hours for to go quickly.. argh! Oh well, it was really great to get the work permit well, in the works!
How are you Maire? Everyone??
Hello everyone.... I sure do miss you guys, but mostly the ladies
the 131s were approved yesterday as was the work authorization.... no word on an interview or green card status....
All is good here... although out of a job, everything else is fine.

Wow...not allowed in the building?? Ours was very relaxed...I didn't go in with Pat because Jessie was with us but there were entire families going in...lol!
Yeah, I had read that in many places the SO was not allowed in... oh well... no biggie

Hi all! Lampros' Biometrics appointment is the 14th! We're both going for it, but is there anything we need except the papers they sent? I read somewhere to bring proof of relationship again...?
Lampros has his Greek license he's driving on a bit, he's still not used to the weird catty corner streets here.. (neither am I!) There are hardly any real 'blocks' where we live.
Aaanyways, Hi to everyone after a while of no hi's!
Just the papers they requested in the letter they sent. FYI, I was not allowed in the building when we went... but it was easy for them... Good luck!

Hi HONEY!
We got them for non-english birth certificates and that freaking form 693! But no big deal

Thanks! Pat is so stoked..hehe! He can't wait to get his Texas DL...lol!
Cool! Once they have those then it should start moving pretty quick I would think!
I'll bet he is chompin' at the bit for sure. Joanna just drove the other day for the first time. She was very nervous, but did fine.

Congrats to Maria!!
Hey lady! How's married life..hehe!
Richarddddddddddd.....sorry not been around...things have been a bit hectic! Did get some VERY good news this morning....Pat's EAD was approved last night!!! Should have an approval on his greencard within the next week or so I think! Heard anything new on your AOS?
Congrats on EAD!!
I am mailing the RFE papers back today!

Where did everyone go? *sniffle*

They arrived and life has been great. A few little hiccups with Alisa not wanting to sleep, because she has been so excited and just wants to see everything. Other than that it has been indescribably awesome. We are going to Disney with Oksana's parents today so I am excited to get to bring them all here for the first time.
Once again I want to thank everyone for all their support and kind words when I thought this would never happen and you guys were always there to pick me up whenever I was just completely depressed about how long it was taking. You guys have made this process so much easier.
Lee, I am so very happy for you 3!

I bet someone is doing the hunky punky!
-
TODAY is the DAY! Goooooooooooooooooooo Lee!
-
Thank you Jamie. I am so happy that you got your package off. How is Lampros doing in the states?
Now all I have to do today is keep myself from bouncing off of the walls today. Which is easier said than done. I will get through it and then finally the long wait will finally be over.
YIPPIE!

Oh ok....are any of them going to be hard to get?
I don't think so, I have to find a translator here... and go get the silly doctor to sign a form or 2. I think that is all.
-
Morning all!
Richard - Did you ever get the paperwork on that RFE?
Yes... they want English translated birth certs and some medical form for the kids. they seem to have accepted Joanna's 693 (or whatever that number is)
-
Lee.... You be as MAN PRETTY as you want to be! And YES... let the HUNKY PUNKY begin!
Maire.... CONGRATULATIONS sweetie! It is nice to hear from you, don't be such a stranger!!!
Happy Monday y'all

Thats great Jamie. Did the surgeon just make you waste money or were they helpful?
Oksana will be in New York on Friday and Orlando next Thursday. I am getting a little anxious, but I am still able to control myself. Next week will be impossible.
I imagine! I am very very happy for all 3 of you!!!!

hey what ever happened to maire? I am working on marriage visa now. i hope it doesn't take as long. i see everyone here is doing ok...
She stops in once in a great while, Rich
Due to a misunderstanding she will be in New York with her mom and then on the 15th she will be in Orlando. Even when I catch a break it isn't as good as it could have been.
Is it time to go to NY?
-
10 days and counting Lee? How excited are you???
-
Definitely will. Not in the middle of the winter too . And if you haven't been to Kiev, I suggest you do make a trip there at some point too! Beautiful city!
Been there, would love to go back
-
Ah that sucks Richard. Hopefully it won't be a big delay for you.
I went for only 5 days , but hey, better than nothing!
I am not worried... 5 days is better than nothing... but do a longer trip next time
-
It was a mission as a matter of fact, it was more of a work trip than pleasure, but I managed to squeeze in a bit of fun.
Yes, tons for yummy food, gorilka and hungry lookin' ladies
Easy on the Vodka there Glad you were able to squeeze a little fun in the trip. How long were you gone for?
FYI, I got an email today for an RFE on our AOS.... will have to wait and see what it is for.
-
Congrats Jamie. You guys look so terribly happy and sweet that I have a toothache.
Rich thats great news. Hopefully things will run a bit smoother for the two of you. I hope you guys the best and that your marriage visa will go very fast.
Liz whats the word with your daughter?
Richard it makes me happy to know that everything is progressing as it should.
Igor it's looking good. How was your trip to the Ukraine?
As for me and my news I got the greatest e-mail this morning. Oksana has a ticket for the 10th of next month. Woo Hoo.
OMG!!! WAHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I-751 May 2012 Filers
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Posted
Question to the group please.
Has anyone here filed i751 for the k1 and k2 visa? If so, did anyone get a I797 for the k2 side of things?
I am asking because we filed the 751 for Joanna and the kids and so far have only received the extension letter (797) for Joanna and not the kids. They would like to go back to Poland this summer. Not sure whether the kids can go on her 797 or not.
Thanks,
Richard
